As there was a heatwave going on, the AC was not the best. They gave us water bottles, in a mini fridge that was NOT cold, so i am not sure what the point of the fridge was. And the Wifi was not super - it was very slow. I had better wifi from other restaurants around town. The pool had a brown ring around the pool wall - which made it look like it was dirty. And there were leaves and particules in the pool, the water was clear though. But could have been kept cleaner. A house cleaner, didn't notice that my Do not distrub fell off my door and walked in my room without knocking.

The setting in the old monastic building is spectacular and proximity to all the sites in Avignon is excellent.
-
Not at all like the pictures describe and “private roof top Pool/hot tub” which was closed. Very difficult access if you have luggage, once you go up the small elevator you have to go down/ up the stairs carrying your luggage. Wi-Fi was not working so not recommended if you have work to do! Difficult access if you have bags. No pool/hot tub as described Wi-fi not working

The breakfast and dinner was nice. Location was excellent. Very peaceful place and close to the downtown area. We had to unplug some lights to plug in our devices.

Friendly helpful staff. The older bedrooms were lovely. The older style rooms were lovely. The new purpose built rooms were dark unimaginative ugly and had a corporate feel. The hotel itself was very beautiful and the cloisters have been stylishly converted into a lovely space.

the room smelled like a sewer

The location of the hotel was excellent. Parking was an added bonus.
-
It is a special monastery converted hotel with rich long history. Front desk Emma and all the staff were extremely helpful.

Rooms were a bit weird. Felt subterranean/dark. No power outlets near bed. Breakfast a bit frantic.

The history of the property

Location close to the city. Quietness. Ambiance of the place. Beautiful square inside the cloister. Private Parking next to the cloister. Outdoor Breakfast

The building and grounds are beautiful and parking was easy. The rooms felt run down—leaky faucets, ac didn’t work, refrigerator didn’t work.

nothing
-
Nothing. The property is overrated. It is a two star hotel at most. Do not stay at this hotel. Staff was not friendly. Room is unacceptable for a 4 star rating. Everything. Nothing was as advertised.
-
Location - two minutes from the Central train station and the hotel leads you down the main street to the square. Restaurants/stores all close by. The courtyard was beautiful, lovely quaint building. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room we had was spacious but a little tired, could use a makeover to freshen it up.
-
The breakfast arrangements were chaotic. Only 2 staff members, so crockery etc always running out, air of panic on their part was palpable.

all good

Location is great as it's very close to the main street. Very large parking so no problem any time. We were upgraded upon arrival to a huge room with 2 floors. It's excellent for romantic stays. Staff is responsive and pro-active. Hotel is indeed a converted cloister which gives him atmosphere. No comments here.

This was our second time at this hotel and it again met all expectations. There is ample on site parking, the setting of the old abbey/convent is beautiful but then you have the roof top terrace with the pool and the modern hotel. The rooms are spacious and modern and the balconies are great. the location is excellent for the city centre. We liked everything and will definitely return.
