This is a nice hotel in a very good central location in Avignon, very close to the restaurants of Place des Corps Saints and to everything in central Avignon. The friendliness of the staff in letting me leave luggage before I could check in was most appreciated. The rooms were fine. This is a good option for central Avignon, particularly if you do not want to spend too much. n/a

Central location near the Avignon Centre Statin, bus station, and the main street of old town Avignon. It was all good!

Good value—including the “bistro breakfast”—with a great location in Avignon. Within ramparts, near bus and train stations. Super friendly staff. Breakfast area is pretty. Rooms are dated and quirky but clean. Our room was much bigger than I thought it would be. There was a self-service laundry just around the corner, which was helpful.

Excellent location. Room was clean. It was tough checking in and lacked communication.
-
the room is too small compare my stay in NICE for the same price in Hotel Trocadero
-
It was very close to the train station - 5 minutes walk and close to the historic sites and restaurants it has no elevator with very narrow staircase. Room - It could use some updating

The Hotel is convenient to the train stations and the bus station, as well as all the sights in Avignon. Great for walking/biking. This is a good value hotel, very clean and comfortable room and mine was large with a sofa and table area, as well as a closet and coffee/tea electric pot. However, as others have noted and I knew ahead of time, my room had an « Italian Shower » meaning a small square area with no glass or curtain. The shower temperature and pressure were fantastic, but the bathroom tiled floor is well watered. The desk clerk helped me get my luggage up a winding staircase to the third floor as there is no elevator. There is no lobby, just a desk, but there is a nice room for breakfast. The staff were caring. In summary, it is worn, but has a charm about it. Since I am active and a hotel is a place to relax/sleep between adventures, it was perfect for me. Seems to be popular with biking/adventure folks. It certainly was a value in a time when there were few options in the town on Bookings for some reason.

Nice area, great location, nice and helpful staff!

Amazing location, central to restaurants and shops yet very quiet, especially in the evening.

Location, quietness and room is bright and clean

Very close to the train station. Simple room, but had everything I needed, including toiletries and a water kettle, coffee and tea. Great airconditioning. Got there around 9 pm and there was no one at the reception. I had received a message with a door code, but was not able to get in. Had to make a call to a number posted on the door, and was then quickly able to access the hotel and the room. So ultimately not a big deal, but you need a phone plan, not just a data plan which is what I usually travel with in Europe.

The room is a little tight and there's little space to walk around.

Since it is an old building there is no elevator, just a very narrow winding staircase. So if you have large and heavy suitecases it might be a challenge...

Excellent location, short walk from "Avignon Center" gare, easy access to old Avignon. The fellow at the desk was also the breakfast staff, and he was kind and delightful. The first-floor room was perfect for my needs, including well-operating AC! Can't speak to other rooms of course. Although I would absolutely stay there again, adding eggs (I've seen places that set out fresh eggs and a boiler on the counter, boil-your-own) to breakfast would be a nice touch.

Near the train station

Good location, 10 minutes walk from central train station and restaurants/museums/palaces Very clean apartment, amazing view from the window on the park area

Very nice personnel (speaking only French), very clean, great location. Outdated but charming. Pas de Wi-Fi au troisième étage.

Conveniently located, nice bedroom. Large towels, good heating. Bathroom door swang back and banged when you opened it. The shower holder did not fit the shower head, but we found a workaround. We didn’t have enough loo paper and had to keep asking for more. However, otherwise we were very happy with the stay and there were many things that we were happy with. The curtain near the loo in the bathroom was dirty (please clean it!) and the shower floor could do with some paint. The ceiling could do with some cleaning/painting/mending.

The room was very clean, and it was quite large. We thought it was well thought out - tables and lights on both sides of the bed, hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom, space around the sink to put toiletries down, etc. It was a very nice room for the price we paid.
