Hôtel Alizéa

The location was perfect. Right in the city center and close to the train station. The staff went above and beyond, helping us with our luggage. Very friendly. The elevator was broken. A hair dryer would have been nice.

Very friendly stuff. He helped me with the suitcase, brought clean towels, explained everything. Location is super good, just 5 minutes walk from the railway station, in the heart of the Old city, lots of parks, small cafes and 10 minutes walk to the main square of the city where the Pope palace is. Just perfect. I liked everything, because for that location this is a real value for money

The manager was excellent. He helped me with my luggage and even brought me two cups of boiling water to make tea when he saw how tired and stressed I was when I arrived. The location is excellent for an older single person. I felt very safe It is very basic but the other things made up for that

Staff - all of them was really friendly and helpful. Thank for them! Even donated a bottle of cold water at midnight! The room was in terrible condition: the sockets didn’t work, wires were sticking out of the wall, and the plaster was falling off.

I liked always hot water when you need and smiling staff. The blanket was without a cover. And not very new. It should have been with more beddings. It was simply the blanket that was without any fabrics covering it. And that was not very hygienic.

Location was good and the cheapest price in all of Avignon. If you love the smell of industrial-strength bleach burning your lungs, congratulations—you’ve found heaven! This place doesn’t just smell like bleach, it REEKS of it. No elevator? Of course not! So if you’re on the third floor, enjoy your cardio session on the world’s narrowest spiral staircase with your 40 pound luggage in your hands. Oh, and did I mention bedbugs? Because yes, they’re part of the experience. This hotel isn’t just bad—it’s a survival challenge. Don’t just walk away from it, RUN. Whatever money you think you’re saving, your sanity (and lungs) will pay the price.

Worth the money you pay

The staff was very nice and super accommodating, I had a top floor room and the wifi didn't reach all the way so they let me use the office to get my work done. Overall very good for the price!! The room was quite plain, and the wifi didn't reach all the parts of the hotel. The shower had a tiny smell of old water (not too bad thought).
