Lovely staff! Good location and spacious room. Towels are a bit old, could use refreshment.
-
Cute nicely designed little boutique hotel in Bacalar only a few minutes walk to the beach club and water Property itself is fine . Of course the properties adjacent are very poor and old as one expects in Mexico ! Stayed 2 nights (Sat/Sun).

Very very reccomended. Just change the pillows to be more soft ? The pillows are not good imo. Way too stiff.

The breakfast was very good. I moved to another location just because I want it to be closer to the Lake

Very zen and peaceful vibes.

Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good. The pool wasn’t available due to something being broken. It was the main reason I booked the hotel

Beautiful hotel and nice staff. The location is great and the breakfast was nice too. Everything was perfect

Good

Quiet and good location, easy to walk around the small town. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Pool was nice to have since the place isn’t located on the lagoon.

Great spot in Bacalar with a nice pool!

Its quiet and good value. Nice breakfast included. The pillows were too hard and big

Beautiful hotel with a nice swimming pool. Vibe is relaxed and the staff is friendly. At a walking distance from all the facilities you need. The AC works really well. We can also recommend getting a massage. What we didn’t like and seems to be common in Mexico is the plastic sheet around the mattress to protect it. It doesn’t sleep that comfortable.

Had a really nice stay! Hotel looks clean and modern and is located close to the lagune and many restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and we could book tours from here. We didn't have hot water, but this might be common in Bacalar. Breakfast was tasty! We could choose between a few dishes and there was a small supplementary buffet with toast, yoghurt with granola, and fruit. Portions were quite small though (especially the avocado toast, we laughed a bit when it arrived, just like the side of baby potatoes which were literally 2 pieces). All in all, had a nice stay and would definitely come back!

Very good

A moderate walk or easy bike ride to the historic center. Easy walk to public boardwalk over the lagoon.

Good location close to the lagoon, main square and several restaurants, bars and shops. The pool is nice to relax by but the sun loungers are covered in bird poo. Breakfast portions are tiny, eg avocado toast is one small piece of bread with a fried egg. And the sides are laughable - if you order a side of potatoes, you get one baby potato cut into quarters. What is the point of offering that? For the price you’re paying, they really need to improve their portions. The rooms have no ventilation whatsoever. Despite using air conditioning and a fan, we found it very difficult to sleep due to the humidity. We tried to dry our swimsuits outside but were told management didn’t like this so we had to take them back inside. The staff although friendly did not communicate with each other which meant we often received conflicting information. For example, the morning we checked out we were leaving early before breakfast officially started so asked if we could get something packed to take with us. We asked one staff who said she’d check with management. We came back later to check on the request and another staff assured us we could just start breakfast early. We went down at 7am expecting to order like normal from the menu, to be told they could only provide granola and yoghurt as the chef hadn’t arrived yet. As one of us was lactose intolerant, we couldn’t eat this. We asked the waiter for something else but then were told it was our fault for not specifying our dietary requirements the night before.

Superb

Good location Bathroom smell. Room way smaller than the photos. Dingy bathroom. White spots everywhere, dingy toilet, faucets that were rusty. No room to store your clothes. Breakfast was laughable.

Breakfast was good, you order eggs from the menu. Good location in town and friendly staff. We got to change rooms three times during our four nights stay.. water leak and big hole in the mosquito net.. last room was okay but smaller than what we paid for. The place needs renovation or lower price because the standard doesn’t match the price anymore.
