The waterfront is stunning! Excellent deck with very comfortable lounge chairs, so relaxing. Staff is incredible, very accommodating and attentive. Bed was to firm but that's my personal preference. The staff was incredible & went out of their way to remedy that.

The room was nice and big. Great staff, great location. The dock was nice. Breakfast - I read comments saying it was ‘great’ but it was only ham and cheese sandwiches, cereal, and bananas. For the price I thought it would be hot breakfast or at least eggs and oatmeal.

Atmosphere, everything easy access.

The lagoon it’s just there, the place it’s cute, and the rooms comfortable and nice There’s no food being made in there, But you can order from many places around

The lagoon front and view is incredible. They charged me extra to use the kayaks..

close to water room initially offered was unacceptable - no view, small, isolated, and nothing like the rooms pictured. For a substantial up-charge, we were offered a better room, but no funiture in the room other than the bed. The peculiar construction of the room allowed mosquitoes to enter unimpeded through large gaps in the floor. A mosquito net was provided over the bed, but was very inconvenient.

Nice location. Lovely swimming area at the end of the dock. Room was clean and the A/C was plenty cool! Great water pressure and temp in the shower. Friendly staff. It feels like it’s an old office building? Like you’re going into a space with a dentist office, a tax accountant, and one or two other small practices. It really feels like you’re staying in a place that wasn’t meant to be a hotel. Our door opened directly to the lobby, and that felt strange.

The location Rooms are not worth what they are charging for. The bathrooms weren’t clean and the toilets didn’t work well. When we mention that to the staff they told us we had to fix them (lady in charge). Really???? They just placed a bucket with water in front of our room door. Rooms are full of rust and tar.

Very beautiful setting and we couldn’t have been any closer to the beach. I highly recommend this accommodation. I liked everything about it.

Great location I did not like the modern building I was in . There were two bungalows that looked good but they are busy

The location is prime, we where able to park the car and go for a nice walk to the main town square and enjoy the afternoon. The access to the lagoon is perfect and there's a lot of privacy. Also, the breakfast was fantastic. Nothing we didn't like.

Amazing property. Lovely people working there. Very hospitable and helpful. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms and they seemed a bit like they were still under construction, the shower needed tiling and you could see through the floor to the forest floor, so maybe add some flooring and close the gaps between the thatched roof and the walls so less bugs get in. A mini fridge and 5 gallon a bottle of potable water with a dispenser would be nice additions to the room as well.

The room wasn’t really clean and the wifi was not working from the room we had to be at the reception to have signal
-
Beautiful felt really private, infront of the lagoon and at a great location Nothing, it was great

The property is right on the beautiful lagoon. You have your own private pier.

The location is unmatched. A few steps from the Lagoon, and a few meters from city centre. The staff is very kind and helpful. The free breakfast is fine. Our room, Ceiba, was bad. It should not be offered as a room, for it is isolated in the back of the facility, just in the middle of a service room and some restrooms with pipes cracking all day. I assume that the other rooms are much better. Wifi was poor in this part of the hotel, but in reception was good. And the hotel is small, and it cannot make proper room for cars. So if you have a car, you may have a hard time to park it in the hotel. Our car got trapped behind other guests' cars, so we could not use it because they didn't leave their keys.

the property was very clean, beautifully located on the lagoon. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was great! helpful and accommodating.
-
the dock the room, it was very dirty and near the trash, the service, there was only one option for breakfast, the pool was like a jacuzzi

We stayed here for 4 nights in January 23. It is considered a small hotel, really a former two story house on the lake that was converted since the pandemic. Three bedrooms in the home, two in the front property. Ours was large with two beds (or a king if combined), decent large shower with hot water and good pressure. Internet was very poor and electricity went out at the property for 3-4 hrs one morning. Probably 8-10 yrs ago , likely a very modern property and was probably in nice condition. Today, a bit in need of help…maybe a good pressure washing and painting to start. Some things probably need repair. The front garden was quite nice and it lead to a long wooden walkway on the lagoon to a covered platform which was quite nice. The lagoon is beautiful and very peaceful. Our fist night was in a very loud room and we could not sleep due to the bed and the noise of the water pump (we think). We paid $119/night and they initially asked for another $30/nigh to switch rooms. They agreed to move us at the original paid for rate. The staff were very pleasant and we met some other nice travelers. A new manager started during our stay and he seems to be interested in making improvements and asked us for suggestions. A good cofee machine was our no 1 recommendation! Until improvements are made or the pricing is reduced substantially, I think there are better value properties nearby. See above. Bad coffee, sorry, very bad internet service, property in need of upkeep.
