HOTEL PEJELAGARTO

-Very peaceful and quiet place -Very cozy outdoor areas -Wifi worked very well -Air conditioning worked well -The hotel was super clean from both outside and inside -Cozy hammocks outside -Beautiful pools and outdoor areas -Good parking area (but a bit small, your car may run out of parking space is many other quest have cars. Happened to us once). -Staff was very very helpful and polite towards us. They were truly hospitable and always ready to help. -Hotel felt safe. -The rooms and other areas looked way better in reality than in the images. -Rooms were spacious. -Pool water was cold -There was not always warm water, but that was kind of ok. It is common in Mexico that the warm water runs out fast. -The staff cannot speak english so you need translator or some spanish skills. Not a big problem though -The pool water did not look very clean, but we did not swim much so it was not a problem for us. -It is a bit far away from the lake and from the town itself, but we had rental cars so for us it was not a problem. Would not have stayed here without a car I think.

Lovely quite modern hotel, spacious rooms and comfy beds. Very clean and well kept. Pools are awesome with lounge chairs, pool towels and hammocks. Some food and drinks service on site. They even sent out laundry for a very reasonable price. Service was attentive and efficient. Highly recommended. Shower water pressure needs to be greatly proved. Location is not in the central part of Bacalar but 2-3 min. driving. This isn’t a problem if you have a car but a bummer if you don’t.

Big clean rooms. Great hot water shower. Comfortable bed. Great pool.Coffee maker in room. Pleasant staff. Noise from the water pump in the bathroom would groan/ grind noise every 10 minutes and every time anyone flushes, all night long.Room #22.

The atmosphere was perfect! It was quiet and we really enjoyed relaxing by the pools after a full day of driving. The breakfast was great, they went out of their way to provide fruit for me as I can't eat eggs. Everything was good. Would recommend a stay for others.

Breakfast was very subpar, almost none existent. It was just a little bit of scrambled eggs (you choose style) and coffee.

Outside of the town, you need a car. Big room, comfortable beds, bathroom with shower and a very small flat space, you can not put down almost anything. Hot water with enough pressure. The personnel is very kind. Secure parking. Continuous loud music around the pool even for zero guests. When we asked for swithing off, they did. The second day this was repeated. The breakfast is not buffet, you have to order and wait. Wait and wait. The service is very slow, but the breakfast is very good. (If you have time enough...)

The staff is very helpful. The don’t speak very good English though. The beds were comfy and the room is nice. The breakfast is fine, but minimal. We could not use the swimming poule. It’s very noisy during the nights. People were screaming till late.

Breakfast was great and great swimming pool for the kids! Very clean, neat and staff was very friendly. Some sweet bread would have been great with breakfast.

Perfectly clean new hotel with spacious rooms (superior king) and nice pool are. Very kind staff in all operations from recepcion to bar. Had a comfortable sleep there.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in! Brand new and spotless! Very nice rooms and nice decoration throughout the hotel. We loved the hammocks upstairs. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. I highly recommend it. Nothing.
