Hotel Casa Poblana

Well located just a walking distance to the lagoon and the center of the city. Hosts very accommodating. Loved the vibe.

Highly recommended :) Shared Kitchen space with everything you need to Cook a nice meal. Family hosted Hotel, they live on Sight and are super nice. Rooms are Clean, water pressure is good :) Parking space is limited

Very good location, very quiet If the rooms are fully booked, they can run out of hot water.

It is a clean and reasonable place to stay not so far from the city center. Everything corresponds to the description and expectations.

The place is lovely. The rooms on the top floor have a terrace from where you can see the lagoon. The kitchen has everything you need and free water was provided. The hosts are super nice and welcoming. We loved hanging out with their animals as well (one dog and a cat). We can really recommend this house.

Helpful hosts, comfortable stay Hot water wasn't on by default in the morning, you had to ask the host to turn it on if you wanted to shower early in the morning.

Very nice people, very close to beach town. Room was clean and peaceful place. Ran out of hot water.

Hotel is really cozy and nice. Hosts are friendly and speak english.

Lovely clean room with good aircon and excellent water pressure and hot water in the shower. Nice to have filtered water available too. Short 10 minute walk into town (although road doesn't always have a pacement). Overall great stay. Not much ventilation in the bathroom so needed to keep the front door open a bit after a shower but only a small issueroom relatively small but absolutely fine for a short stay.

Great value for this area. The daily cleaning was great including rooms & shared kitchen. Kitchen was very well equiped if you plan on cooking your own meals. Easy walk to everything within 15m, although not in the main square this means no traffic and very quiet at night. From the bus station is a 30m walk or 50peso taxi.

Location is nice. Kitchen is huge and has a lot of things to use. Everything is very clean there was not enough air in the room. There is an air conditioner but it wasn’t working well. Windows are tiny and door doesn’t have a mosquito net. We stayed for 2 days and it was ok for us, but longer I wouldn’t stay

I liked my stay at Hotel Casa Poblana. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. There is hot water for the shower, a rod in the closet area for hanging clothes, benches at the ends of the beds, and the windows have screens to keep flying insects out. There is also a deck outside with comfortable wood chairs and a view of the lagoon. The owners responded to my questions quickly. If I come back to Bacalar I would choose this place again. The only issue was that the Wi-Fi seemed slow and sometimes drop.

Location in a quiet part of Bacalar, yet near restaurants and the town center. Clean, spacious room, comfortable beds, hot water, a patio deck with a view, and window screens on the windows. Family run, it felt safe and secure.

Kind owners, very helpful. Comfy beds, hot shower with good water pressure. A shared kitchen with water to refill our water bottles was an added bonus! Walking distance from multiple restaurants. Room was a bit smaller than expected, but still big enough
