Bed could have been a little softer, too hard. I suggest maybe a memory foam mattress topper. Other than that no complaints.

Centrally located to restaurants, lagoon, and laundry facilities. The king size bedroom I booked was too hot due to a faulty air conditioner. The replacement bedroom was better but the bed was too small. The second night was better but the shower was too hot and weak water pressure. Breakfast was not available and hotel appeared empty. The reception desk was friendly and did her best to help. The hotel needs maintenance and better service for the price charged.

Located near downtown and not too far from lagoon. Bright and cheery place. Only problem is it often gets booked up. The staff were helpful and friendly. The upstairs rooms have a nice balcony facing the lagoon. The downstairs rooms have a patio also on the lagoon side. The booking said it included breakfast but they no longer do that. The bathroom of the upstairs bathroom gets very slippery and has a step down to the bedroom where both of us slipped and fell. You need to put towels on the slick floor when wet after taking a shower to keep from slipping.

Great location. The bed was comfortable. Staff friendly. I liked having filtered water outside my room. There was no breakfast included as advertised on Booking .com. Would have liked tea bags in the room instead of just instant coffee. There was too much noise for a day and a half from carpenters working on the balcony as well as people next door walking to and fro from their rooms. The wooden plank floors and heavy doors were very loud, especially at 6:00 am. I would have liked a chair to sit on in the room. In the bathroom, low water flow in the shower and the face bowl didn't drain for a long time.

Best hotel in Bacalar. Very nice morning view and balcony, great place to find some peace.

Great location close to the water and the town center. Pretty hotel and friendly staff. Our towels were always folded in cute animal shapes. Nice breakfast with good coffee, hibiscus drink and choice of omelet or chilaquiles. Loved our stay!

The staff was wonderful and attentive. Toilet didn’t flush on arrival and the bathroom door lock broke. It was very hot in the bathroom and my daughter was stuck for about an hour. A locksmith was called but my husband took the door apart before he arrived. We also chose this place over other hotels because it offered breakfast but on arrival we were told they didn’t serve breakfast, the listing was outdated.

Property was lovely. Our room was large and very clean. We were upstairs and had a nice balcony with a view of the lagoon. We met the owner our last morning and she was lovely. Water pressure was very low.

The facilities were extremely clean and they have everything you need for your stay, hair dryer, fridge, tv, A/C and the beds and towels were clean and white. The kitchen and food were very nice and good. The outside aparience.

Lovely, clean and cozy hotel and great location. Nothing to complain!

Breakfast was incredible with a range of options Free drinking water dispensers in the common area Super easy and convenient off-street parking area right in front Strong wifi signal in the room Our room had a small ant problem, which explains their "no eating in the rooms" rule

Good location and comfortable bed. Nice staff except for mistake made upon check-in when I was double charged. Quiet at night. Strong smell from the bathroom plumbing. Better breakfast in town. Was also double charged upon arrival (has apparently been refunded but am still awaiting return of funds). Suggest paying cash to avoid issues.

This is a great little hotel. Breakfast is delicious, the staff is friendly and accommodating and the location is perfect far away from the noisy bars on the other side of town. Very safe neighborhood and only steps from the lake. Ask for a menu for breakfast otherwise you will not know what’s available and there are many choices and all of them are great!

The taxi had booked a taxi for us at 6:30 am to go to the airport. It never showed up and at that time the whole neighbourhood was asleep but the kind night guard helped us out and called for a new one. Great location
