Hotel Erbgericht Krippen

The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was great, the location is beautiful. I was woken up a 3am from a fire alarm's "low battery" beeping. I tried to ignore it and continue sleeping, but it was too loud and too annoying. In the end I got up and looked for the alarm outside; luckily it was one in the hallway, not in one of the locked rooms. I managed to disable it, but the night was ruined, and not restful at all. Who installs fire alarms that don't have the option to limit unimportant warnings to normal hours in a hotel??? I demand the cost for that night to be reimbursed. Also there was an incessant beeping from one of the rooms day and night throughout my stay, and apparently this has been going on for much longer. Why hasn't this been fixed already?

I wish there was a kettle for tea and coffee in the room

Staff was mostly friendly. Breakfast was ok. The facilities were below standard for the price category. No kettle, coffee or tea available in the room, not even after asking. Basic TV programs not available, because the necessary upgrades for the TV systems were not done. Buffet dinner was bad and overpriced.

The view to the Elbe from the room's window was great. The breakfast was pretty solid. I was doing a bike packing trip and the hotel also offered a storage place for bikes. Great!

The staff was very friendly, Krippen is a wonderful place. The hotel is situated shortly before the small stream flows into the Elbe and therefore close to the train station.

Close to the train station. Great view, food in restaurant is delish, staff is kind. Only recommendation from our end is to extend the sauna opening hours as it closes at 9 pm.

Nice lodgings and great restaurant; reasonably close to some hikes and walking distance to a train station. Affordable. I found the room quiet. Location is tricky if you do not use a car or bicycle. Trains do not stop frequently at the Krippen station and one may need to go to Bad Schandau. There are no real restaurant options this side of the river, so you are dependent on the ferry service for that. The restaurant may get fully booked in the evenings!

Everyone was friendly The room was roomy The ferry wasn’t far away Perfect value for the money Maybe the mattress wasn’t perfect. It was a bit hard for my opinion. But I slept awesome with this mattress too

Great location, fantastic staff, very welcoming and accommodating. The dog was not welcome at the breakfast but they helped to organise a breakfast in a different room for us so that we did not have to leave her in the room. Good breakfast, available parking, central location to many activities. It was a great place - I don't think I would have changed anything. The wifi was not available in the room, but it was ok. Thank you!
