A nice hostel just a short walk from the old town. The staff were friendly and the beds had curtains for privacy. There’s also AC which was nice on the hot nights. There wasn’t much privacy in the showers and one of the toilets had a frosted glass door (ladies only toilet). The kitchen didn’t have anything to cook except a microwave.

The best location, helpful staff, everything is clean

The location was great, right at the Nizami street and the location was easy to find. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I also really liked how both upper and lower bunk beds have curtains they should update the photos here because it was a really nice surprise so people staying on the upper bunks can have privacy! Some people were living there and some people staying there were really disrespectful to the hostel rules like talking on the phone at night inside the dorms or putting their big luggages and stuff on other peoples spaces. The facilities were a little old but they were working alright.

*I traveled solo.* These guys are honestly the best out there. It’s not that the facilities are something crazy or luxury level, other places might have good services too. The difference is the staff. They are very accommodating and genuinely helpful. As a solo traveler, what really matters is cooperative staff who understand basic human needs. I was impressed with everyone there, especially Fuad and the rest of the team. Location wise, it’s exactly where you want to be. Nizami Street is about 100 meters away. Baqala (Mart) is 50 meters. KFC and McDonald's are also around 50 meters. If you want to stay in the center of everything, it’s basically right there. One small suggestion if you travel solo, book a max capacity dorm like 8, 10 or 12 beds. You’ll meet more fellow travelers and it’s easier to have casual chit chats and make new connections. Above all, the place feels absolutely safe and it has everything you need, including a fully furnished kitchen.

Travel Inn Hostel was an affordable, clean option in a great location! I stayed in the female 6-bed dorm room for a total of 4 nights at various points during my 10-day trip. Even when the dorm room was full, this was still a quiet, low-key hostel. Many of the guests kept to themselves, though I did meet a lovely group from Algeria! :) The female dorm room had modern beds with privacy curtains and an outlet and light next to every bed (I slept in 3 different ones, both top and bottom bunks, so can confirm this!). The sheets and comforter were impeccably clean and crisp, clearly freshly laundered. Another nice perk was under-bed lockers PLUS stacked lockers (that were quite deep and could fit a lot of belongings!) that came with hostel-provided locks and keys! There were also two hooks provided for each assigned bed, plus an extra series of hooks at the back of the room. There was a nook for luggage below the one window in the room, and generally ample space for everyone's stuff. I had no complaints about the room. The female dorm room had a dedicated bathroom stall (toilet and sink) and separate shower space (two shower stalls, another toilet, and two sinks), which was nice, so we didn't have to share with the men. Because there are only 6 female-only beds, the bathroom was never busy -- I never had to wait to shower or use a sink. The bathroom/shower areas were cleaned daily and remained quite clean. I did shower late one night -- around 11 PM -- and did not have hot water. But every other day/night, this was not a problem, though I never showered quite so late again with the hopes of preventing this issue! Overall, I was very happy with my stay at Travel Inn. The location in the Sahil area is the main attraction, as it's outside of the confusing streets/touristy vibes of the Old City, and I could walk easily to everything I wanted to see in Baku. It was also close to the Sahil subway station and the gorgeous Khagani Garden park. I don't usually comment on staff, but one of the front desk attendants (who was always wearing a baseball cap) was particularly rude. He didn't even look up when people were at the desk hoping to talk to him, he didn't greet anyone, he spoke in a very unfriendly manner, and he was incredibly unhelpful when I was asking him questions. The other front desk attendants were totally fine.

It is one of the best hostels out there. All famous spots are nearby. The staff is very cooperative and freindly and always there to guide you about any matter. The Sahil Metro Station is nearby and all the bus stops are close to the hostel.

Location was superb! Friendly and helpful staff. Fuad the receptionist was such a fine gentleman, the cleaning lady was helpful. I was allow to stay at the lobby with their wifi after check out. Average cleanliness, kitchen was not appealing at all. Apparently hot shower only available at night or early morning, not anytime.
