Narrow stairs are hard to climb with a suitcases; keep in mind, don’t expect elevator in any of old city hotels, that is obvious; the hotel was selected since the booking.com was proposing it as duplex suite with 2 bedrooms, but in fact, it was 2x separate rooms on 4th floor.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Even walked us to the local restaurant the recommended. The wifi was a little slow. Other than that it was a great experience.

A wonderful place in beautiful Old Town. The staff were all super helpful, professional, and hospitable. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The room was big and clean with a comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and good AC for those hot summer days. We hope to be back again soon.

Old Baku Boutique Hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of all the major Old City attractions. The area is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the included breakfast offers great value. Guests should note that rooms on the top level require climbing three levels of stairs, which may be challenging for some travelers.

The old town is a difficult zone for walking, due to cobblestone and un even streets, that is a difficulty for the elderly. Apart that the breakfast was weak in variety. And there was an issue with the ventilation in the bathroom in the last day.

Beautifully renovated property in the heart of Old Baku. Ismail and his entire team went above and beyond as attentive hosts — they were communicative about check-in, eager to provide information about the area’s history and attractions, and offer tea every time you walk in the door. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and complete with home-grade mattresses, mini-fridge, kettle, TV, wardrobe, and bathroom toiletries. A typical breakfast was included each morning. Thank you for sharing your love of Baku with me, and best of luck with your planned expansion.

The room was super clean, supplied with water coffee tea which you can ask for additional whenever you want. They also added the basic cleaning gifts like toothbrush, toothpaste. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and respectful. The location is amazing, it is in the heart of Baku. Nothing, everything was perfect.

Great value for old town. Clean, spacious accommodation. We had a room with a deck which was amazing. There was an issue with the AC that was fixed quickly. Very impressed with that. Took care of an airport transfer for a good price. Everything worked out well.

I had an amazing stay at Old Baku Boutique Hotel. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the Old City with historic architecture, cobblestone streets, and vibrant culture just outside the door. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always available yet never intrusive. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. What really stood out was the atmosphere. The hotel has a warm, welcoming energy that made it feel more like a home than a hotel. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking to soak in the real spirit of Baku. Highly recommend. I’d absolutely stay again!
