I Residence Hotel Silom

The old lady at the reception was extremely rude wuth the customers, slow service and high deposit for such hotel. The wall are thin, through which you can heard your neighbors easy. The bathroom sink is hanging on loose glue, that is barely holding it. And the light is barely working and barely visible. The facility is super old, like it's about to break, and then they will deduct your 3000 thb deposit

The location The beds were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on. The room smelled bad, there was no Wi-Fi, and it felt incredibly claustrophobic. Although there were windows, they faced directly into another building, making the room feel dark, boxed in, and stuffy-

Overall you pay for what you get - location is good. To be honest, the room is due for an upgrade. Dirty fixtures and facilities, could have been cleaned a bit better also.

Public transport 5 minutes walk. Nothing.

Good location, overall clean, good size room. The breakfast was just okay. Most of the food options at the buffet were constantly empty. I would recommend going early for breakfast. The pool was good although there could be more shade. Also many people used the pool as a smoking area (cigarettes and others..). The gym was tiny, just one or two machines and a small treadmill. I paid for a room for two and my friend had a separate room. Our rooms were identical except my bed was a tad larger. So I felt ripped off. The kitchen is on the 5th floor, where I stayed, it would be really noisy in the morning with people going to and from breakfast and I can hear all the kitchen wear clanking around. Also, there is a button for when you want the room cleaned or not to disturb. There is a light that displays outside the door. The button only works temporarily so the staff would knock on my door every day even though I didn’t want cleaning. Sometimes at 11am and sometimes at 3pm. So it was unpredictable

It’s hostel . Not hotel . Reception not friendly except one young guy who assisting at entrance . Very bad rooms in the same building with reception. Floor are leaking water whenever stepping. Called to change room and got rude replies . Never again .

Room small dark

Location and easy check out. Did not know that if you have visitors/family visiting that they are not allowed to come up without a passport. This should have been made clear in the description as it would have influenced my booking. The information provided said ID is okay, but when I got there, they wanted my passport. As someone who works on a cruise ship, we are not allowed to take our passports off the ship. Luckily I had a copy of it on my phone.

The location was perfect , few feet away from city transport (metro) next to restaurants, street foods tourist attractions etc

Been staying in this hotel more than half a dozen time because of it's unbeatable location Absolutely no wifi in the room, bathroom hygiene not up to standard,don't replenish amenties,never clean the used cups and charged me 100 baht each night when requesting an extra blanket,so I paid 400 baht when I check out

The staff where really friendly. The false advertising. We didn't have any wifi in our rooms only one corner every few days got wifi for a few minutes. Then breakfast was said to be included but when we got there we were informed it was 400bt per person which is quite expense for the local standard. We also got a room with a air vent directly in front of the only small window which would be very loud for many hours in the morning. When we first arrived we found two dead cockaroches. And during the stay another. The TV didn't have any channels in English. The location is only good if your there for business other wise it's far from all the attractions. Booking gives it a 4 star rating which is definitely false if you just quickly check Google it says 3 stars. We complained to booking but they did nothing to resolve the issues.

The hotel is within short walking distance of SKYTRAIN Chong Nonsi as well as other transportation services. The breakfast and dining room were excellent. They even offer selfserve icecream for breakfast. Room size was adequate but showing signs of age, particularly the bathroon which has no shower door and sink and fixtures are peeling and showing signs of rust. Staff is friendly the room rate is reasonable. Condition of the bathroom.

Location, breakfast Rooms are not sound proof. I can hear people talking next to my room at night with earplugs

Breakfast is awesome, beautiful swimming pool When checking out, the staff did not let me stand and check the room, but then reported that my room slippers were missing. Also have to deposit 2000 baht until check out, very annoying. The staff's English speaking skills are not good.
