La Petite Salil Sukhumvit 8

Very convenient Quite a long walk to BTS even though they have a golf car to BTS but on the way back it was quite tiring after a long day

My family and I enjoyed our stay in La Petite Salil Hotel. The area is near a bunch of different stores and activities! Many malls, shopping, massage etc near the hotel like Terminal 21. Most important the area was safe for kids and women. The staff was very polite, kind and offered us umbrella when it was raining. The breakfast had many different options and very good. Definitely recommend this hotel. The WiFi was very poor. The room wasn’t as big as we saw in the picture, otherwise cozy and great!

The rooms are nicely decorated. It is quiet. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and responsive. They have a shuttle to take you to the main corner if you do not want to walk. I look forward to the buffet breakfast that is very good with healthy choices. The taxi driver they contract with that took me to the airport wanted to just drop me off as soon as we entered the zone. He had a bad attitude when I asked him to please proceed to Scoot airlines, saying that bags were heavy and I have to be careful with my back. (I otherwise am happy that the hotel has a contact for transportation to the airport at a set price)

Windows could open a bit more

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent—from the clean and comfortable rooms to the relaxing atmosphere and great facilities. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. A special thanks to Rana, who was truly outstanding. My partner and I both loved the room, especially the color choices and the overall design, including the bathrooms. Room service was fast and reliable throughout our stay. I personally enjoyed the breakfast very much, as there was a wide variety of options available every morning. The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful in every situation. Check in and check out were both seamless and hassle free. The location is another major advantage. Being on Sukhumvit 8, it's close enough to the main road to be convenient, while still being far enough away to avoid excessive noise and crowds. The area is very practical, with easy access to laundry services, taxis, and food delivery. Everything could be arranged or delivered without any difficulty. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. While we had an overall positive stay, there were a few areas that could be improved. Although the breakfast offered a wide variety of food, the vegan options were quite limited. There were usually some vegan choices available, such as fried rice, fruits, bread, croissants, and occasionally samosas, but the selection was not always suitable for guests with stricter dietary requirements. My partner is particularly sensitive to certain ingredients and cannot eat garlic or heavily oily foods. As a result, some mornings the breakfast was satisfying, while on others there were very few suitable options available and we had to grab something else from the store nearby. Another challenge was related to allergies. Both my partner and I are sensitive to dust and airborne particles, and we noticed that the bedding seemed to trigger mild allergy symptoms, including sneezing/runny noses. We requested additional cleaning and room servicing during our stay, and the staff were always helpful, but the issue persisted. This may not affect most guests, but it is something that people with allergies may want to be aware of. Lastly, the Wi Fi could be improved. It was usable for general browsing, but it was not particularly fast or stable. We experienced occasional disconnections throughout our stay, which was noticeable when working or using multiple devices.

Nice staff and very good location, close to most important places. Staff is very nice and sweet. I stayed on the last floor, temperature in the room was 36 degrees when I was not in the room. The room card will switch everything off when you take it out, so when you arrive back in the room will be hotter than outside.

It is quiet on the section of the street where the hotel is located. Room was comfortable! Bed was great. Tuktuk driver was very friendly and helpful. All staff were friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was of poor quality! It was not replenished very often. It is best to skip breakfast and seek it out elsewhere in the area.

I have become a repeat guest at this lovely boutique hotel, due to the quiet but convenient location, the comfortable rooms and amenities and the helpful staff. It has become my home from home in Bangkok.

Ben greeted me and gave me like a 1520 minute summary of how the hotel worked where all the amenities were. I got a drink of some juice and a little bowl with cake and then knew my name and he called me by it regularly. The “window” was a chimney up to open air?
