Siam Champs Elyseesi Unique Hotel

The hotel is very clean and the room was comfortable, although small. I appreciated being able to watch the news in English. The restaurant was terrific. Also, the location is close to tourist sites such as the Grand Palace and several Buddahs and Temples. There was a lot of construction in Democracy Circle and so maybe that is the reason, but all but 1 (out of 5) taxi had a difficult time finding the hotel.

The staff, the food, the location was all excellent! Something not part of the hotel but it seemed to be a definite benefit was there were two street vendors right outside the door. Each morning we were there we ate some food and ordered the green tea from the drink lady. Absolutely awesome! Nothing

The hotel is located in the Old Town area, which makes it very convenient for visiting many attractions. Even though it’s close to the main road, it’s still quiet. On the first night, we found that one of the beds was broken, but the staff fixed the issue very quickly.

The location is nice to be close to the Grand Palace and the surrounding area. The address on Maps on the phone says some other location nearby to get to this hotel. I always had to type in "Siam Champss Wood Bar and Cafe" to get to my hotel (whether I was walking or taking a Grab/Bolt). It was confusing for Grab/Bolt drivers. When I asked for recommendations at the front desk for any food nearby or anything they recommended to do in the area, I received no recommendations from anyone at the front desk (although I did my own research of course as well). The front desk personnel could be more helpful in this regard in giving kind recommendations, especially for someone who is in Thailand for the first time. In the room I was in, there is an alleyway behind the hotel that can be quite noisy, and the windows are not well-insulated, so I had to use ear plugs at night in order to sleep in case of random noises that could wake me up. Lastly, they could be more responsiveness on Booking when customers message them ahead of time asking specific questions. I was ignored most of the time, even when I did kind follow-ups to try to get answers to simple, but important questions.

- there are very good massage a few steps away from the hotel, not expensive but it’d be even cheaper if you book online in advance. - there are many restaurants and cafes in the area even tho you’ll have to walk at least 10 mins. A Michelin pad thai restaurant is 10 minutes away but we had bad luck, couldn’t even try it. Their restaurant was fully booked the whole lunch the last day we were there. Probably should call them in advance if you wanna eat there. - it’s a boutique hotel so everything is small ? the bed is small even for me. And hard. It was not comfortable but the worst was the pillow. I’m an easy sleeper but I couldn’t sleep with their pillow. I had to borrow some towels to make my own pillow but the next day the cleaning staffs took them away lol - there was a window in my room but looks like cannot open and also not a great view. - distance to Khao San road is farer than expected. About 15 minutes walk. - price on booking was 50€/ night but on their website it was 33€/ night! That’s why things were not so great. But all in all, if I go to Bangkok again, I’d still choose here and book directly with the hotel!

Very friendly and helpful staff, room was clean. The shower/bath water didn’t go hot or cold it was just an in between temperature and didn’t change.

Looked well

The hotel staff was not cooperative at all, we made requests for a few things that were completely overlooked. Hotel rooms were tiny and very substandard cleaning was done. Toiletries were of poor quality and were not put adequately.

Very big room, comfy bed, big bathroom, quiet area. The place is very stylish and very well kept. Close to the "party" area in Bangkok, only 10 minutes away from all sorts of bars and restaurants. Nothing

I stayed at the property a month ago and liked it so much I returned. The location is excellent, the rooms are comfortable, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the value is terrific. There is nothing about the property I dislike.

The location, the room, and the staff were all terrific. There was nothing to dislike.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Also some rooms have great landmark view. Stuff was extra friendly. Location is perfect, all points of interest in that area are in walking distance or short tuc-tuc ride. For visiting other areas use Bolt or Grab.

The Location was safe and generally quiet. The room was spacious and staff kept it clean. The AC worked wonderfully. No shower; just a tub with a hand held shower head. Limited hot water - never got a really good hot shower. No hot water in the sink - just tepid water. Hard to enjoy a shave. The location is well sited for walking to the Grand Palace and things around that. 20 minute walk. And a 20 minute walk to Chinatown and the nearest subway station. But it is a long was to get to the action, like Siam Square.

It was quiet and in a good location for the nearby attractions

The hotel also have everything you need.

Comfy bed, clean room, great staff...close to all the things we wanted to see in that part of town.
