The location is in a good neighbourhood and not so far away from Kao San Road. The neighbourhood was safe and local. The hotel was very clean. The staff friendly. The hotel relies on the guests doing their part to keep it clean and safe and functioning. It's a budget hotel and run as such. There is no staff in the hotel overnight. And, it works! You have to take your shoes off at the entrance. This is good as it keeps the floors clean throughout although there are some guests who refuse to do this. I was there for nine days and didn't hear of anyone having missing shoes. Also, they have left luggage which is in eye view of the front desk but no one is monitoring it and it also seems to work. There is a community fridge in the lobby as well as a hot water dispenser, which is a nice gesture since there are no fridges or kettles in the rooms. The lobby area is quite big with several places to sit and work or read a book. There is a sitting area outside marked as a smoking area. Maid service is available daily if you request it. You can hear doors being slammed regularly, which is not the fault of the guests. When you open the door you have to hold it and shut it otherwise the suction pulls it shut. I had a problem with mosquitos at night until I found the place where they were coming in. It was one of the windows which has a gap. Once I took care of this there were no more mosquitoes.

Room was basic but clean and met my needs for the night. Wished they had at minimum soap in the bathroom/ shower.

The crew was super helpful and nice. Few min walk from center. Really clean and quiet. All was good

Location. Ceiling fan. Large room. Spotless room. Friendly, helpful staff. Shoes had to be removed before entering building. Bathroom shower floor did not drain very well.

It's really worth staying, unless you need something luxurious. Only room temperature water in the shower, not heated.

I like this area,,close to the river and a nice park and easy walk to Khosan Rd area… All good

Shared bathroom was never clean and there was no hot water.

The reception area is the only nice part of this “hotel.” I wouldn’t call it a hotel. It’s more of a dorm, but they trick people with their listing and make them believe it is a hotel. Price is very low for a reason. Spend $10 more and stay at Khaosan rd and get a much nicer room with ac and a private bathroom. As soon as I saw my “room,” I knew I could not stay there. It has the vibe of a room in a sanitarium, completely devoid of comfort or personality. There are no decorations or anything, just a bed. The lady that worked at night when I checked in didn’t speak or understand English at all. I tried to use Google translate but she didn’t understand. She was the only person working there that night, so I had no one that could properly communicate and I had to leave.

The place was spotlessly clean. I liked the location close to Khao San, but quiet. We had a great view of the river from our room.

The hotel is in a calm, authentic neighborhood near Samsen Soi 3, ideal for a relaxing stay away from the bustle of Khao San Road, which is just a 10-15 minute walk away. A guest shared, "Such a relief to get away from Khao Sarn road....you cannot sleep there - here you can, thanks god! I slept with my window wide open, and no sounds of cars or motorbikes or parties all night- nothing." ....

No elevator. There was a broken drawer. Ask for a 300 baht deposit, but there were no fridge nor TV, only giving you a remote device and a big trunk of plastic road as the key. Only a small square table provided.

Location was fantastic- the neighborhood is quiet but within walking distance of lots of shops, nightlife, the ferry pier, and even Khao San Road. While there are rooms with air conditioning available, not every room has it. Make sure you know which one you're booking.

Great backpackerplace. A bit hard to find but once you're there, it's a totally quiet place i Banglamphu. The staff moved me from one room to another (and all my stuff) while I was out for a beer because of a mistake upon arrival. The staffmember in charge of that apologized every time I saw her over the following days.
