Hansar Bangkok Hotel

The location is very convenient for transport and it is right in the city just off one of the main thoroughfares. The rooms are spacious and stylish. The design of the rooms has been carefully thought out are very easy to live in. There is plenty of storage which would make a stay of a week or more extremely comfortable. The furniture and fittings in the room are getting a bit tired and really could do with refurbishing. For example the desk chair material and the carpets in a couple of locations were fraying and the woodwork was in places scratched or dinted. Also the breakfast offering although perfectly adequate was not really up to the standard of many other 5 star hotels in Bangkok.

One of the things I like most is that all the rooms are suites, so they’re spacious and very comfortable. This time, I also noticed they added a handheld bidet spray in the bathroom, which I really appreciated since bidets aren’t commonly available. It was a thoughtful touch. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. Overall, it’s one of my favorite hotels in Bangkok, and I’d definitely stay here again. The only downside, both during my previous stay and this time, was the cleanliness and the overall condition of the rooms. They definitely show their age. The rooms have carpeted floors and fabric-covered walls instead of painted ones, which tend to trap dust over time. Another issue was the bedding. I found the pillow uncomfortable, so I requested another one. They kindly brought me two extra pillows, but both had a musty smell, almost like they had been stored away for a long time. I didn’t end up using them, and honestly, I didn’t feel like complaining. I’m sure they would have replaced them if I had asked, but for me, details like this should be taken care of before guests arrive. I also noticed that the carpet near the elevators had turned black around the edges from years of use, which made the hotel feel more worn than it should. That said, I still came back because the room size and price offer great value, especially for a one-night stay before leaving Bangkok. If I were staying for several nights, though, I would probably choose a newer hotel. With a renovation and updated rooms, this hotel would easily become one of my top choices.

we loved all in the Hotel, zero complaints, all was perfect. The room we chose was comfortable and very spacious, the beds super comfy and the bathroom clean and well organized. the view from our rooms was fantastic. The room service worked perfectly, using the app in the TV. The swimming pool area is really enjoyable and the cocktails delicious. At last but not least the breakfast I must say is delicious and with a lot of variety of local and international products.

Breakfast every morning on the roof was pretty spectacular with a lot of variety to choose from. The room itself was absolutely massive, more room than we thought was possible to get in somewhere like Bangkok for this price. The bathroom was large and felt super luxurious and we had an atrium in our room that was really beautiful. The lighting in the room was hard to figure out with switches by the door but not by the bed, but really a small complaint

Nothing to complain in this great hotel. All great: the size of the rooms, location and quality of the breakfast, location of the hotel, staff, carpark ..... Not remember anything I didnt like

Large and cozy room with quite nice sunset view. Friendly and helpful staffs. Great location to go anywhere. There is no bidet sprayer. Imagine when you poop after a full day eating spicy foods. The room was clean but but still smelt musty the moment walking in. The sheet smelt faintly of Indian. And the aircon fan was strong even at the lowest mode. It can freeze your head and we gotta sleep on the other side to avoid it. The mattress was a bit too fluffy for back pain.

Friendly and honest staff. Great location very close to BMT (sky train) station within 2 min walk time. Room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Nice pool/gym and feels exclusive overall. Breakfast was very good as well. Very good value for the price! AC was a bit musty smelling when it's not in cooling mode

I liked the room, location, breakfast, and the gym. I also really enjoyed the staff. they were very kind and helpful. It seemed like we need a few more staff members at the concierge area would be better. The concierge on the second floor were amazing, but the ratio of guests to concierge staff were not always optimal.. even one extra would be great.

Everything but design in particular Bed mattress uncomfortable

The location is very good near the BTS. 7-11 across the street for easy shopping. Room was large and AC worked well. Front desk staff was pleasant. Food options at breakfast were limited. Staff at breakfast showed lack of polish compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Thailand. It was never busy at breakfast and they seemed overstaffed, yet nobody checked on me once in 8 days as to whether I needed another cup of coffee or asked how my food was. They were only focused on clearing plates. Staff was often chatting with the noise level being distracting. I have not experienced this low of a level of service at breakfast before in my over 15 stays in Thailand. Nobody on the staff was rude but the level of service was far below neighboring hotels.

Quality of facilities and excellent convenient location close to BTS and plenty of shopping one can walk to in gew minutes. Everything was great
