See below. Compared to other five-star hotels across Asia, Hotel Indigo Bangkok fell far short of expectations. The properties usually pride themselves on attention to detail, but this stay was defined by severe oversights and poor cleanliness. Room Quality & Cleanliness: We stayed in a corner room that was nicely spacious, but it was ruined by a heavy smell of cigarette smoke clinging to the bedding, sheets, and air conditioning unit. Because the room has a balcony, it seems management allows smoking, which easily travels into the room and ventilation system. Birthday Mishaps & Food Hygiene: I arranged a birthday surprise for my boyfriend’s special day on our third night via Booking messenger. Instead, staff decorated the room on the day we checked in. Worse, the complimentary birthday cake had mold around the fruit and a hair embedded in the decoration. On his actual birthday, housekeeping stopped by with another cake, showing a clear breakdown in communication among staff. Amenities & Decor: The pool deck photos online are misleading. In reality, there are only about five lounge chairs, and the deck is mostly shaded by the floor above, making it nearly impossible to catch sun on a warm day. As for the hotel's interior, the design choices felt less like boutique decor and more eccentric/strange such as old record players hanging on walls and a massive loom on the 14th floor. Location: As a first-time visitor to Bangkok, I realized after arriving that the location isn't ideal if you want to explore Old Town, Chinatown, or the main nightlife hubs. The one major upside is its proximity to the BTS train line, which was a lifesaver for bypassing Bangkok’s notorious traffic. Overall, between the hygiene issues, lack of attention to detail, and smoky room, I cannot recommend this hotel for a true 5-star experience.

Wireless Road in Bangkok is a great location, and Hotel Indigo is right there. So, we had a great room in aa great hotel at a great location. Our stay (as a matter of fact, two stays for a total of seven nights in the two week span) was really enjoyable and memorable. The room, breakfast, Rooftop bar, friendly staff- all this made our experience! What would be great for the hotel to consider (but this is applicable to most of properties globally) is if the hotel guests could also benefit from the discounted prices in public hotel facilities (including the Rooftop bar and the Hotel restaurant). This would I believe equally benefit the hotel as well as the hotel guests.

The hotel staff was helpful, attentive and nice. Rooms were clean, bed was very comfortable, large bathroom with all the amenities but the view was the highlight and the balcony a bonus. Breakfast was very good had a lot of variety both hot and cold options. The rooftop bar has a great happy hour and the sunset is phenomenal from there. The pool area is serene and the gym is small but has good equipment. Location is fantastic, clean, safe area with 5 minute walk to Sky train which made getting around quick and easy. Nothing

We reported that there might be bedbugs in the room when we checked out. We showed my bites so they can investigate further. I hope they get back to us for an explanation. If it was actually bed bugs or i just had allergies.

The breakfast was very disappointing, most of it had no flavours or was boring. Not what I expected from such a high level hotel.

The stuff was great, the hotel is very convenient and has a special retro design which adds to the atmosphere. The swimming pool and bar on the roof top are great!

Booked this hotel for my partners 30th birthday as the first stop on a trip in Thailand. It was the perfect start to our 2 month long trip! On arrival after an extremely long journey we were greeted by friendly faces who helped us with our bags and a complimentary drink. The bed was extremely comfy and the room was clean and homely. The breakfast was AMAZING with so much choice and variety. Would absolutely recommend this place!
