Hotel Santa Marta

The 1st room was for 4 people. We notice that the A/C was not functioning as expected. The room was not cool at all. The hotel change us to another room were the A/C was good but the room was for 3 people

Close to town and docks where I was meeting my daughter from a cruise ship Could have done with coffee making facilities in room as coffee machine in foyet was not working

The location is amazing, it's very central and close to restaurants, beaches, shops and museums. The staff are super helpful and nice, everyone we interacted with was great. The room was a reasonable size, the two of us were very comfortable there. Everything felt clean and pretty new. The AC wasn't great, it was a little too warm in the rooms even with it going full blast, and the corridors were very warm. The beds weren't very comfortable, especially the pillows. The breakfast was only okay, I'm not sure I'd pay for it again, I think I'd have had better food if I had gone to a local café.

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was very good. The toiletries provided were an extra bonus. There were a lot of homeless near the hotel, the bed was very hard, the air didn’t work very well and the room was a bit smaller than what we’re used to.

We did like the "new and clean" feeling while inside the hotel (including cleaning service). AC and silent ventilation were a plus. Location also allowed us to visit the city using the Barceloneta subway-station (very convenient). Marina and beach are like 15min walk from the hotel. We stayed at 1st floor, which has kind of a too low ceiling, but we adapted I guess. Unfortunately the outside area (in the proximity of the railway-station) was quite frequently visited by homeless individuals which also were making a lot of mess creating undesirable odors. We successfully avoided the more shady areas.

The location was amazing, It was half way between the beach and the gothic quarter area where I had a few tours. The hop on bus stop was just a 2 minute walk. Great restaurants in the area as well! The breakfast buffet was very good. Lots of selection and a great way to start the day. The bed was rather firm, but that is just a personal preference.

Location initially the payment for the reservation was 553.80 euros with taxes for a two-night stay, when I checked in they told me that I had to pay 563 euros, which has never happened to me in any reservation anywhere so far. to stop you more than the amount of the reservation in a serious scam like booking. while then they write to me that someone has broken the data security and the credentials of all the clients who have been with us have been stolen, such as name, surname, email address for more and credit cards. I am extremely disappointed with this hotel. I would not recommend it. I stayed on May 09-11 2026

Location and cleanliness Room for three was extremely small

Breakfast was wonderful, they had just about everything you could think of The single elevator was extremely slow

Front desk staff was A+

Beds are hard.

Great stay, amazing location! We were able to walk a lot of places.

Front desk persons were great with good location. Shower a bit dirty, plaza below my room was noisy with music and plaza users every night. Mosquitos came in randomly on and we got bit.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and cofortable room and an excellent location.
