Location was great was about a 10-15 min to the beach and so many options to have dinner close by. The rooftop pool was great to relax. Bed was very comfortable:) Nothing

Room was clean but a fellow traveller came back after a day out to find her room door left open. Reception staff were super UNhelpful. Not interested in helping. One cannot store luggage on check in day apparently despite everything I read prior to the trip said they did so spent the day carting my suitcase round the city. No water, tea or coffee complimentary in the room. What hotel doesn’t even offer water in 35 degree heat. €2 for a bottle of water in the room. No kettle so could only have coffee pods, no tea at all, at €5 per very small cup. Went to Aldi round the corner and bought my own. Lots of homeless asleep in the street outside. Not safe for a solo female traveller. It advertises a roof top pool which is a very small concrete paddling pool butted up against the plant room, really unpleasant; don’t assume you will take a dip after a day of sightseeing. You won’t want to….

Good location but staff will call the police on you Staff calls the police! I’ve left a review before but since I made 2 booking I’ll write what’s missed 1. I asked for an extension, and with rudeness the bald guy with glasses at the reception in the morning said no rooms and literally raising his voice asking me to check out 2. I immediately in the same hotel booked a room which was with 2 beds not 1, and went down to plead with the same person bald with glasses, and paid for my previous days bookings city charge etc 3. He starts screaming and I’m like “calm down calm down…” and he’s clearly overwhelmed with other people there for check in and checkout and he’s taking it out on me, he showed me the difference 4. I then proceeded to say “Spanish law doesn’t allow you to evict someone if they have a reservation and if they are unwell….” I did not get to say this, I just said “Spanish law” 5. Next thing he’s screaming “you want Spanish law, I give give you spanish law…” and I don’t speak Spanish but I knew he called the police because he told me “you want Spanish law you want me to call the police…” a few times and here im telling the guy can you calm down… 6. Next he tells me not to go up and house keeping will bring my things down which I did not listen too, my things were packed I brought them down to see 4 police officers waiting for me as if I’m a common criminal checking the room, talking to the housekeeping lady and me, and god knows what’s the receptionist is saying to them in spanish… At the end I rolled off of the police as a casual passer by and did not want to engage with them after explaining what happened and that the bald headed guy with the glasses whose name the staff won’t tell me was gaslighting and then next seconds in front of the cops and asks me “are you ok now sir” playing the arsonist the firefighter and victim. Pathetic!

Location - but property will get you arrested. Stay if you want to get arrested. The rooms more specifically the head boards and wooden areas above a certain heights have dirt balls on them not cleaned and come across as mold. I asked for extension of stay and right off the cuff the morning staff / receptionist was rude. I booked the same hotel a different room and called him back, and he asked me to come down. I did, I paid the city tax, and then I pleaded with him I wasn’t well, and he kept raising his voice because he was overwhelmed at the number of check in and check outs waiting. I only merely said “you know Spanish law…” I wanted to say “Spanish law doesn’t allow you kick someone out of the room with a valid booked especially if they are unwell…” but as soon as I said “Spanish law” the bald headed man with glasses whose name no one would tell me started screaming “you want Spanish law, I give you Spanish law…” in the meantime he said “house keeping will bring your stuff…” I did not listen… I went up got my stuff and came down to see 4 POLICE OFFICERS WAITING FOR ME AS IF A COMMON CRIMINAL AND ACTUALLY WENT AND CHECKED THE ROOM AND EVEN BROUGHT DOWN HOUSEKEEPING ASKING QUESTIONS IN SPANISH AS A WITNESS. This was unwarranted gas lighting and then the same man turns to me as an innocent receptionist- “are you ok now sir, everything ok sir…” just overkill and ruined the mood of an otherwise what would have been a good place.
