Latroupe Poblenou Beach

Location, common area, staff. Room had no AC but they quickly let me switch rooms once I asked. Have to go down stairs for toilets and showers? Modern but rather used showers and toilets.

They have activities everyday, is perfect for solo travelers, the kitchen was fully equipped The internet connection was very poor, I do not recommend this place it if you need stable connection for work and they don’t have a quiet space if you have meetings to do

The location of this hostel was great. The staff were kind and attentive most of the time. And the public space was well put together. When we arrived our beds were made and “ready” for us but it was not entirely clean. There were hairs, and dirt and fingernail clippings in our beds. The showers and bathrooms never really felt clean. I understand it’s hard to keep this kind of stuff clean when you have a bunch of 20-something’s staying together, but our beds could’ve been cleaner when we arrived, and the bathrooms just felt gross the whole time. The laundry rarely worked correctly. I spent over 40€ on laundry during my stay because it continued to shut off mid cycle and I would have to pay. There were only 2 sets of machines, and people would take your laundry out to start theirs.

Wish the water pressure in the bathroom sinks was a bit better, otherwise no notes!

The room i stayed in didn't have working air conditioning but they offered to move everyone to a different room.

The hostel’s location is excellent — very close to the beach, metro, and bus stops, and in a safe neighborhood. The hostel itself was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful and responsive. The only thing that needs more attention is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and toilets, which should be cleaned more frequently, and the kitchen sponges should be replaced more often. Thank you.

Location was good Showers and toilets were common for the entire place. Also there’s notorious the lack of maintenance to the building, there was a leak on the hallway and the soap dispensers in many showers was falling off the walls

The storage drawers were numbered odd. It would be more convenient for everybody if the upper bunk storage was under their ladder. Now, the upper bunk takes their shoes off getting on the ladder into bed, which blocks access to the lower bunks drawer. Then, the upper bunk can't get up/down ladder if the lower bunk is accessing their drawer.

While the metro is close, it takes about 30 minutes to get into the city. Bars in the neighborhood are relatively sparse, but if you look hard enough you’ll find a decent bar.

I didn't take breakfast as I have events I needed to get to very early every day.

I liked the location, the staff and the vibe. Very small room, noisy, the upper bed is very hard to get in. Also, very expensive for a hostel.

WiFi wasn’t great for me

Close to the beach. Good value. Convenient to public transit and easy to find. Lots of restaurant options in the area. The room felt cramped. No light in the bedspace. I had no access to the drawer under the bed. Paid lockers on the first level. Most of the toilets and showers not on the same level as the rooms. Some little repairs needed here and there.

Compartments for luggages under beds are pretty small, cannot fit regular size suitcases, also don't have locks, which you have to rent extra.

As a regular customer i had a situation with reception lady that told me with rude way we make no diference between regular clients and irregular clients. Coming from a lady in reception maybe latroype should give here a training on gow to provide services for regular clients, because she was rude saying we don't care if you are regular or no .........
