Nobu Hotel Barcelona

comfy bed and view was great the room smelled like sewage badly and i didnt have time to go complain and get a new room since me and my gf were so busy. the electric blinds didnt work either which was annoying because then i would have to manually open them and i didnt know if i would break them if i did that so i didnt want to and ruined my first morning. the sewage smell was very annoying and my gf hated it but we didnt want to have to move rooms after we were already moved in and just dealt with it when we first got there. barely any seating by the pool there was never a time for us to lounge. food was super expensive which is fine but not cool if i cant even lounge at the pool and eat

like every nobu, they delivered room service very quickly and 24 hours. I will say the lifts are terrible constantly breaking down they take forever to arrive they feel really sketchy the buttons aren’t great. Swimming pool isn’t a swimming pool it’s a bigger plunge pool c I had a decent stay at Nobu overall and, for the most part, the experience was positive. The staff were friendly and helpful, although I can’t say the same for some of the security staff, who often came across as quite stern and occasionally a little rude. The food was excellent, as you’d expect from Nobu, and the 24-hour room service was a real highlight. Everything was delivered incredibly quickly, which made the service feel very convenient. There were a few things that let the hotel down. The lifts were particularly disappointing — they seemed to break down regularly, took a long time to arrive, and felt quite dated and unreliable. Even the buttons didn’t always feel like they were working properly. The “swimming pool” is also worth mentioning. It’s more of a large plunge pool than an actual swimming pool, so if you’re looking to do some proper swimming, this probably isn’t the place. There are also only around four sun loungers around the pool, which feels very limited for a hotel of this standard. One nice touch was that, because our luggage took a while to arrive at the room, the hotel gave us two complimentary drinks, which we really appreciated. Overall, despite a few issues, I enjoyed my stay. Miss Ilham was very helpful and concerned for us. Her friendly and energetic character was very welcoming. Situated near the Sants station.

Upgraded to a suit ;Ernest at reception was very cooperative . Breakfast was good Lobby too crowded, check in time takes too long. AC in the room assigned didn’t work and 2 hours later was upgraded to suit. Elevators are slow and not all functioning and have to wait to get my turn

My husband and I travelled to Barcelona for a late birthday and early 12 year wedding anniversary celebration. The room was very clean and spacious. Joanna at the check in desk was very helpful. The pool area seemed disorganised. Staff in that area weren't as attentive. The lighting in the bathroom was way too low. Need brighter lights to put on make up.
