The hotel’s location was lovely; it was just that our room faced the inside of the building – we would have been happier if it had faced outwards. As we were in Spain, we would have liked there to be olives at breakfast; apart from that, the breakfast items were delicious.

The room itself is okay, the lobby is pleasant, and the bathroom was clean. The bedsheets were good, and the facilities in the room were generally fine. However, the overall experience was seriously affected by the staff and the way additional charges were handled. Very rude and unprofessional staff. My experience with Karla in particular was extremely disappointing. The hotel seems to randomly add charges to basic services that should already be clear at the time of booking. We booked and paid for two separate beds through Booking.com, only to be told that we had to pay an additional €20 if we wanted the room configured that way; otherwise, we would be given one large bed. The late check-out policy was just as questionable. We were initially told it would cost €50, then €40, and eventually €30. Based on what exactly? There was no clear pricing or consistent explanation. The whole experience felt arbitrary and unprofessional, as though prices were simply being negotiated depending on the situation or the guest. For a 4-star hotel, the level of service and professionalism from the staff is far below what I would expect. This is certainly not the standard of hospitality you would expect from a hotel of this category.

I arrived at the hotel with my sister and was immediately greeted with the smile . The lady at the reception was extremely polite and has explained everything to us . We were offered a cold drink and The Prosecco which was a lovely welcome gesture .The lobby was clean with several art pieces with beautiful colours scheme and felt very inviting with good air conditioning which was welcomed as it was over 32degrees outside . Our room was on the 4th floor . We have chosen a room for 3 which was absolutely lovely and clean but a little small for 3 people. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom had all the necessary toiletries and the hairdryer. Coffee was also included . The housekeeper and the staff worked very hard each day to keep the place nice and clean . The breakfast was fantastic . The waiters could not do enough for you . We stayed for breakfast in the beautiful courtyard. Tables were beautifully set every morning. You had a menu card to order but also self service buffet with excellent choices. This hotel is in a very good location not far from a main expensive shops, taxi just on the doorstep and 1/2 hour walk from the Sagrada Família. Rooms a little on the small side but we have never asked for an upgrade so I am not sure if you could have a bigger accommodation for 3 grown up people
