Small single room as expected, but it had a balcony :) . It had everything I needed. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful. Location was perfect - right by the Gothic Quarter, and handy for the metro. It was baking hot in Barcelona when I was there, and the AC in the room wasn't the most efficient, possibly as I was on the top floor. It was OK, but only OK.

Hotel was clean, safe, and very well situated. Shift supervisor made the person checking me in switch me from the room she was giving me to an interior room with no natural light, because I was a solo traveler. He thought I couldn't understand. She looked apologetic and tried to sell it as a quiet room.

We liked everything about the hotel. Room was spacious and very clean. Staff were very welcoming and kind throughout our stay. Pool area was a great place to chill after a roasting hot day exploring Barcelona. Pool bar was great offering lots of cocktails, food and ice cold beer on tap! Location was ideal for exploring. The only thing that I could say is the pool could be a bit cleaner. Also very strict with closing time at 8pm… after a day walking around I could always do with a bit longer at the pool.
