Excellent Location: The hostel is situated in a prime spot, which made getting around very convenient. Cleanliness: The hostel consistently felt dirty and cluttered. There was a lingering, unpleasant odor of tobacco and sweat throughout the common areas, and the bathroom floors were constantly wet. It appeared that housekeeping was infrequent—sometimes occurring only once or twice a week—and quite erratic; I was even subjected to cleaning activities as late as 10:45 PM. Facilities: There were several major maintenance issues, most notably that only one shower was functioning during my entire nine-night stay. The Wi-Fi was also very slow, making it difficult to get any work done. Comfort: My bed was uncomfortable, and I found the room to have a persistent, unpleasant smell. Additionally, there was a dog barking next door that made it difficult to sleep. Services: Laundry service is available for 10 Lari.

Great hostel, staff was friendly and they even have options for luggage storage if you're going out of town and coming back later. Bathrooms could have been cleaner

Totally worth it's price. Everything is well organized including cleaning, silent doors, locker rooms, amazing kitchen, common space for work, chilly balcony with nice view on quiet street. Location is perfect, the area is more calm and prestigious rather than the eastern part of historical center. Cheap grocery shop in the same building downstairs. Friendly staff. Capsule system insures your privacy in comparison with regular dormitory. Lots of other tiny details that made me understand that owners really thought how to make your stay as pleasant as possible (charges, temperature indicator in the bedroom, automatic air purifier in the bedroom, soap and other basic necessities for bathroom). I'm sure I'll choose this one next time in Batumi if I come alone. I don't know what else you should expect from hostel at this price range. Water pressure in the restroom was a bit weak but I guess it's municipality problem.

I like the location near the city center; the staff was very kind. Overall, good value for money. The sheets, especially the pillow one, are not clean (yellow, not white as it should be), with stains. Also, the toilets are small and insufficient for many people.

Nothing Old and smelly bed linen and very ugly interior is just a beginning. The room was cold and they told us, they don't have gas in the whole region. They did have electric heater, which they have not turned on for our arrival. The craziest part was the morning, when we realize that there was no hot water. When we complained, the manager said that she does not care

Karvi Hostel felt like home from the start. It’s clean and cozy, with super comfy beds and a big kitchen that has everything you could need. I loved having the balcony to smoke on—it was a nice little spot to hang out. The vibe is chill and welcoming, and it’s in such a convenient location. Shops, restaurants, and bus or train stations are all close by, which made getting around really easy. They even have a traveler map with all the must-see spots and useful directions. It’s warm everywhere in the hostel, and that cozy atmosphere made my stay so comfortable. It’s the perfect place to relax, meet nice people, and feel right at home.

Great location, kind people, pretty new. The sleeping cabin was quite comfortable. It was very warm, even opening the windows didn't help - but of course for other guests who love a warm bedroom it might have been pleasant :-).
