Location is very good for tourism, and the installations are reasonably good. Overall good value for money.

No Hot water on my stay

Traditional colonial style building. Has a French theme. Food was good if a bit expensive. Set in a narrow street in the old town you are not recommended to leave on foot at night. Main complaint was I consistent WiFi. Otherwise very happy

The room I was given first was very dark, and it had a bad smell. I thought of it as a dungeon. The next day, I paid a small fee and was upgraded to a room upstairs, and this was much better. I didn't like that they charged $R5 for a cup of coffee in the afternoon that I made myself with a Nespresso machine. Many hotels, particularly in Brazil, provide coffee in the afternoon, no charge.

Location close to the port going to Marajó. Could check in late. Very old, and a looot of mosquitos. We didn't feel welcomed at all by a very grumpy staff. Won't probably feel any more welcomed after this review.

I loved the welcoming staff and my room was very comfortable. The breakfast was simple but good quality. The owner spent time to give me some good advice about my destinations. Good wifi in my room, in the restaurant. I would absolutely stay there again.

The amenities and location are great. We had a quadruple room (travelling as a couple) and were happy with the set up and cleanliness. The pool and garden area to relax are a nice feature. Breakfast was good too. We had dinner once at the hotel restaurant (French cuisine) and were not very impressed (moules marinières were very small and the sauce was not good). The male staff member who received us upon check in was extremely unfriendly/ rude. Probably the worst check in experience we had during our 4 weeks travel in Brasil.

The hotel is simple, but clean and very quiet at night. The breakfast area is cute, close to the swimming pool. There was a very small variety of options for the breakfast, but it was OK. The location is good because it's very close to Praça da República. The doors of the wardrobe and the bathroom were always running to one side when I opened them. I thought it was annoying. Since Belém is really hot, maybe guests prefer showers that aren't hot, but it could be a little bit warmer.

Attractive spaces to sit and relax outside one's.bedroom Good breakfast Plenty of sockets to connect devices Room was a bit dark and poorly lighted, could have done with a reading lamp on the desk space.
