Considering it was a work trip, I didn't spend much time at the hotel

I stayed in three hotels at this price level in Belém, and Belém Soft is the best. The location is perfect, the rooms and bathrooms are great, beds are super comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic, and the public areas to sit and relax are very nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. Only the gym could be improved a little bit it is very tiny.

Towels could be better quality. They are under renovation, but they must have a phone in the room

Friendly staff. Check in was quick. Lift to all floors. Clean and tidy room. WiFi was very poor. Safe didn't work. Faucet for the sink was rusted. Maintenance work in next room for what felt like hours to tapping a hammer.

Excellent location and wonderful breakfast. Staff were friendly and rooms were cleaned everyday. Had to move rooms because of bed bugs, but not before becoming a meal. Check the mattresses before settling in. Staff do not speak English.

Da simpatia do " Staff" e do café da manhã!

the location is very good The TV was not channeling anything at all. Worse, the staff knew it in advance and led customers to book the hotel at regular rates, as if everything was working perfectly. Much worse yet, the power was shutt down in the outlets during the whole night (there were no tricks, like inserting the card to have power in the room), DISCHARGING both my phone and laptop. I fortunately woke up in time without my phone ringing and did not check its battery. Later on, 5 minutes before leaving the hotel, I found out I had 1% battery left and was not able to call a car. Already at the airport, I found out the same had happened to my laptop, what stopped me from getting my work done.

Local do café da manhã sem ar condicionado!

Only good thing to say is the location. If you will find somewhere on web that you need to stay in historical center. Please don't do. Stay in the location nearby of this hotel. Everything was bad. Dirty very old room. Bad odor from everywhere. Bad service. I cannot thing anything good about this hotel. This even wasn't cheap.

Breakfast was the only good thing to make it worth it Terrible Bed, one flat pillow, no blankets, no hair dryer in bathroom, gym was tiny & closed most the time. Old, shower head was gross, termites, No amenities at all. Location & breakfast is the only thing to make it worth staying.

With some simple adjustments they could make the interior of the room look a whole lot better. Then they could really make it a 10/10 experience. Nevertheless this was a good experience at this price point.

Good location. Nice breakfast. Lovely attendants. There is a moldy atmosphere in the air. The weather conditions in the city are extremely moist and warm. May be the air conditioning worth a little more care.

Location in the central part of the city, quiet at night. The condition of the room after repair was satisfying. Hot water, A/C worked fine, comfortable mattress. Breakfast was really nice Hotel staff doesn't speak English at all. They weren't helpful when I asked about Amazon tours (they gave me info with agencies that don't exist). Rooms look too simple like 1-star hotels. Poor lighting in the bathroom. Neighborhood isn't safe at night

The breakfast was good and varied. I was grateful for the fresh fruit and the gluten free options. The staff were kind and welcoming though they forgot to prepare my formal receipt (nota fiscal) and I had to wait quite a while to get it. I appreciated that they allowed me to have a Late Checkout as my flight home left at 9:30 p.m. that evening. The rooms were tired and needing redecoration. The curtains on the windows were not adequate nor was the glazing on the windows effective in keeping the outside noise out (it was Festas Juninas and my first night was bad due to the loud music from a neighbouring building). The bed linen and towels, though clean, looked old, worn and in need of replacement. The pillows looked much used and also need replacement. I stayed at this hotel in 2018 and it has really deteriorated in this time. Also there seems to be no lighting in the emergency stairways so in case of fire these could pose a danger to frightened guests anxious to leave the premises.
