Def not lavish but it did its job and was cheaper then most places
-
Low budget dirty w thin walls. Tv had random accounts logged in with dirty internet sites

And there was only pepper, coffee was warm, choices for breakfast items not top notch.,The coffee cup lids don’t match the size of the cups. No one was around monitoring the area. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable. No coffee area in room.

Great budget stay, high walk-score, quieter than name brand hotels around with better insulation between rooms, king bdrm side is quiet looking off to trees quiet rural town setting, double rooms face freeway but plenty of trees in view and light, rural setting so freeway is calm. Windows provide noise buffer. Good to see rooms before to choose for best one, second floors, third floors less desirable. Great coffee shop out the front lobby. Staff was excellent compared to my other hotel stays in Bellingham where they would slam doors, were rude, and did not want to change beds. I recommend Lavissh Inn for budget stay, convenient, clean, light, airy, good service, and quiet space.

Exceptional
-
Convenience TV. Took over 3 hours to get it reconnected properly.

Maintenance problem. Electricity went out and they can’t find the right circuit breaker because they aren’t labeled or so I was finally told after the 3rd request to fix it. Check in at 2:35 pm: failed because I was told check in is at 3, no matter the hotel was quite empty at the time. Really? Also evidently no maid service, don’t recall any warning of that. Lots of paperwork and signatures though about rules. Won’t stay there again.

Very good

Good, inexpensive hotel near Bellingham. About a 20 min. walk to downtown. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. All the amenities you need, including irons and hair dryers. Grocery store and coffee shop right next door. Free breakfast and free parking are great. This is our 3rd time staying here. Would recommend

Location was very convenient. The hotel was an excellent value, it was clean and the rooms very spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was a bit too firm for us.

Exceptional

Clean and quiet No coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was not good.
-
Staff seemed rather pleasant. Only gave us two small pillows and there is never any extras available it seems. The hallways and our room smelled like leftover fish was just microwaved.
-
The room was decent. The bed was comfortable. There were no odors in the hotel lobby and hallway that can sometimes be present in older hotels. The room was partially upgraded. On our first night there was a strange smell in our room. We got used to it when we were in the room and didn’t say anything about it. The second night, when we returned from our outing with our adult daughter, neither of us could get over the smell which was stronger, putrid, and we weren’t getting used to. The whole time our daughter held her nose when in the room. We called the front desk person who confirmed the smell and looked for a source. No source was found. The room was clean. He said they were fully booked and couldn’t offer us another room. We could not sleep there one more night. He said he could not offer us a refund but gave us a card with a number to call. We called booking.com for support with the refund due to the room being unsuitable. To this date (a week later) we haven’t heard anything from anyone that would resolve this issue. We are disappointed and missed out on another day visiting our daughter as we returned home that second night.
