Good value. Excellent location. It is very close to the bus station (to both local attractions and to Fukuoka airport) and shops. Staffs are friendly and price is excellent for seaside view. Clean.
-
Our room was spacious with a private onsen in our room and a beautiful view of the bay. Watching the sunrise was amazing. The staff was very helpful and kind. The location is within walking distance from Beppu station with a lot of local grocery stores and restaurants. If we return to Beppu, we'll definitely stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the room, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t usually pay extra for the view but we did for our stay to have an ocean view and it was wonderful. The onsens were very relaxing and clean. Parking was nearby and affordable Nothing it was great

Great location, clean property, delicious food. No private onsen. Also, I thought breakfast was served in our rooms but it was not.

The location, friendly staffs
-
The futons were very thin, and it felt like I was sleeping directly on the floor. Also, the private onsen was listed as 2,200 JPY at the reception counter, but the actual price was 3,300 JPY, which was a bit confusing.

the price is quite high (but worth it)

We had a large tatami room with large windows over the Bay of Beppu. It was amazing. The onsen on the roof had the same views and we watched the sun rise. Breakfast was delicious except that I had to buy my coffee by the reception, but that is a small inconvenience. They also offered shiatsu massage and the therapist was incredible. It was a 15-minute walk to the train station. nothing

Amazing stay in Beppu! The sea view and private onsen in the room were absolutely stunning, even better than the photos. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming as well. Highly recommend!

Great Hotel

I’ve been traveling around Japan for a month and I have to say that the staff of this hotel gave the best customer service of anywhere I stayed. When we drove in employees came running out to guide us to a parking spot and offered to carry up our luggage. The rest of our stay was the same, everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. Best customer service! The place has an old world charm. Clean and comfortable. The room was huge, the size of a small apartment.

Excellent location with friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious. None

We had an oceanfront room and the view was phenomenal. I woke up for the sunrise and it did not disappoint. The beds were extremely comfortable as were the seating options in the traditional Japanese room. We had supper and breakfast there, and enjoyed both. High-quality foods, wonderfully attentive staff, lovely view of the ocean. Although I loved having our own private hot spring bath, it wasn’t extremely comfortable or clean. I had hoped that the window in there was bigger so that when we were in the bath, we could see the ocean.
-
The private onsen is great - I could enjoy the sea view right from the window. The view from the room is also nice. The location is great as well, it's close to town and easy to find food.
-
Incredible professional customer service. Parking is easy and right next to hotel. We loved the onsen for hotel guests, and we also booked a private onsen one evening which was a wonderful experience at a very reasonable price.

We chose a room with a large window facing the ocean. It had its own onsen but no window and the walls were right up against the onsen so it just felt like a large enclosed tub. We paid for one Japanese breakfast which we loved. The dining area where breakfast is served faces the ocean but there is a large dirt berm in front of the window so no real view while eating. The staff are amazing and the location is quiet but within minutes walk of literally everything. The Hotel is getting a bit on in years. Impeccably clean but might need a remodel pretty soon.

The room is clean and large, can see the view of the sea. Nothing
