Hotel Bohem Berat

I loved the staff and the look of the place. Rooms were a bit small and the hill to bring up the luggage was ruff. Someone should assist from their staff with this.

The hotel is located in old town, which is the most charming area of Berat. The service is super friendly and attentive. Our room had a wonderful view of the city center and the river. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning and new and very silent, and the bathroom facilities were very new and in great condition. We liked everything and recommend Hotel Bohem.

The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast and views were superb, and the hotel’s interior design was beautifully done. The hosts were incredibly supportive and always ready to help - truly wonderful hospitality! Also they specially came an informed us that the cold meats in the breakfast are halal! The only drawback is that the hotel isn’t easily accessible. If you’re carrying luggage, be prepared for a bit of a challenge -the walk up is quite steep, and cars have to be parked down by the road.

A wonderful little family-run hotel, exceptionally charming. Delicious breakfast with a spectacular view from the breakfast room. The room was small but modern and comfortable, with charming features like wooden ceiling beams. The only caution is that the hotel is located up a steep hill that is reached on narrow cobblestone pedestrian streets. It was a challenge to get there with our luggage. But the effort is worth it for the fantastic views.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautifully decorated with excellent taste. The breakfast was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the location is simply wonderful. The only challenge is the access: I would not recommend it for elderly people or for those with disabilities. I also suggest preparing a separate bag and taking only the essentials with you, as carrying large suitcases up is quite tiring and difficult. But then again, that is the price you pay for the privilege of staying right in the heart of Mangalem.

Great location. The view from the breakfast room is amazing and the staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed wine up on the top floor while exploring the city. It’s quite a hike up, so I recommend downsizing to only what you need to bring. We only had one night, but if I would do it again I’d book two to see the canyons. Great value for money. Wish we had a room with a view and the shower was almost over the toilet, so the floor flooded a bit, but it was all part of the experience.

Beautifully located and well designed to maintain the authenticity of the local architecture with rooms that maximise every nook and cranny. The hotel is well located with magnificent views.

Hotel Bohem is a hotel that absolutely respects- and even upgrated my experience of- the historical Mangalem neighborhood. It is a renovated version of what used to be an old home and I was very glad to see what a good care they have taken of the property. The owners and the staff were equally friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it for everyone, especially the traditional albanian breakfast with an amazing panoramic view of part the city of Berat, the river and the beautiful Gorica neighborhood across it. Thankful for my stay there!

Beautiful hotel with breath-taking views of the city. Very kind staff to make us feel very welcome.

The location and design are amazing. You can sit on the terrace and enjoy a beautiful view of the city. The design is nice and the property is comfortable. The hosts are very generous and helpful. Make sure you pack a backpack because the property is in the old city and you need to climb upstairs to get to it. I would add some hotel appropriate commodities like a water kettle and some shampoo and cream as there is only soap. You will have to adjust to the very small bathrooms. But that's understandable as the hotel is accommodated beautifully in a very old house and every inch of the space is utilized.

The helpfulness and courtesy of the staff, who treated their guests properly, is not something you can always take for granted. They were very eager to do their best for the guests.
