Excellent location, friendly and a sweet turtle garden! The shower door needed some attention!

Great location right in old town, walkable to fortress and main major attractions. Beautiful views from balcony too! Delicious breakfast, friendly reception staff.

This was the best hotel we stayed in Albania. If you are travelling with kids, this is the place! Or even without kids! Villa Elmar has a fantastic view and its location is perfect. Their little garden has tortoises which our toddler loved and the little kitten in the property was such a charm. Our 4 year old son still talks about this hotel and he says staying here was his favourite part of our 1 week trip in Albania. Villa Elmar is located close to everything - Old Town and Berat Castle, everything in walking distance. A big hypermarket and fruit stalls are also in the vicinity. The owner, Dionis (I hope this is the correct spelling) was such a pleasant and kind person who made our stay extra special with his hospitality. Breakfast was simple yet delicious and healthy. Everything was superb. If we ever go back to Berat, we will definitely stay here again. Nothing.

I'm hoping they start regulating rules for guests, specially loud music a late at night, although it was passed 12 midnight the music & noise continued until we conplained

The staff was absolutely incredible—they went above and beyond to support us during a family emergency, and we are truly grateful for their kindness and care. The location couldn’t have been better, with easy walking access to all the major sites, shops, and restaurants. On top of that, the dinner we enjoyed at the hotel’s restaurant was delicious. Overall, a wonderful experience.

This is a family-run hotel managed by a hardworking young couple. Communication was very fast and responsive. Parking was challenging, but clear instructions were provided before and upon arrival, and the husband even ran down the hill to help us park in a free spot. Breakfast was very good. The room was basic but clean, with a beautiful view of the Berat old town. Nothing

Location is great! Super love the breakfast. The view from the restaurant is gorgeous! Twin room is comfortable and clean. I had arrived a night earlier and the twin room I'd booked was not available. Stayed in a bigger room and the showerhead in that room is not working well and no door to the shower stall. Glad my twin room the next few days is so much better. Guess it's quiet season so always no one around, make sure you have their number.

The overall property was very scintillating. Not much its pretty good.

The location is in the center of the old section of the city, down the hill from the castle, and close to the pedestrian area of the city and the bridge. Great restaurant, amazing breakfast included, and very helpful staff. They even had turtles in the veranda. I was a little apprehensive on parking on the street as I saw in past reviews that others have gotten tickets, but did so with their urging and got no ticket. But it did make me concerned while I was there.

It is a very charming property. It is very clean comfortable decorated nicely. The gardens are beautiful and has seating and you can order drinks and food. The breakfast is very good and plentiful. It is farm to table, the hostess makes fresh orange juice, fresh jams . The hosts are a very lovely young couple. We really enjoyed our visit and will stay again. Nothing!

Fantastic guest house with helpful and friendly host. The family room is wonderful and beds are comfortable. The garden is amazing and they have turtles! The breakfast is good too. Location is perfect!
