Hotel Borklad

Clean, comfortable room in a great location. We unfortunately did not try the breakfast (our fault).

Very nice host, very helpful and he did not put any objections when paying by card. Albania needs more hosts like him! Super recommended!

The breakfast is above average but not wooa either. Maybe not your best option with a car (but free parking at 8 minute walk)

Great view from shared terrace and delicious breakfast. Check in was smooth and card payment was accepted. Staff are very friendly. The 4 person (1 twin + 2 single) room was in the lower ground with small windows to pedestrian foot level.

Beautiful hotel which is in a great location and with friendly staff and a good homemade breakfast. Our room was so beautiful, but the noise from the terrace and the light (no curtains, but traditional coverings) unfortunately meant that we didn't sleep well whilst here.

Lovely breakfast, good location, helpful team. The room was clean and very comfortable, although you may want an eye mask if you are a light sleeper, as the blinds do not black out the room and the call to prayer/ local cockerels may wake you up early (this will be common throughout Berat!). The shower was nice, hot and powerful. The WiFi was good, but bits of our room were a bit of a blackspot for coverage. Overall a pleasant stay to enjoy Berat!

The hotel is well located, in the center of Berat. The staff is really friendly. The terrace offers an amazing view of the city, perfect location for breakfast. The breakfast was really good The room was really small but it was ok for one night. Our room gives to the small street (not busy) but we could hear all the noise from outside (not much, but not confortable)

As others have mentioned, bathroom situation isn't ideal. Can be loud with dogs barking + roosters...

This was a lovely property in the mountains of berat. The staff were lovely and helpful. The rooms were clean and had everything you could need: the views from the terraces were the highlight. Breakfast was really delicious. Thank you!

The staff was very helpful, even with parking, one of the staff came with us to park the car (since Berat is a UNESCO site, you cannot park everywhere and it’s very restricted) and then gave us a ride back to the hotel. The breakfast was good - Albanian traditional. The shower didn’t have a structure, so you got water everywhere when you took a shower, but in Albania most hotels are like this. Fortunately, the room is cleaned everyday, so it’s not a huge mess

We really liked the traditional-style room, and the view from the breakfast area was great. The breakfast was big and tasty, and we thought the staff were really nice and helpful. The hotel is in a great area in the old town, not too far a walk up the hill to get there!

The terrace’s views were lovely! And the rooms very tidy and comfortable as well Nothing! All good :)
