Very central, historic building, beautifully renovated, amazing traditional breakfast.

Beautiful traditional hotel in a great location. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the courtyard was very charming. It was a wonderful place to experience the atmosphere of Berat Nothing significant. We only stayed for one night and everything was satisfactory

Good things: Staff: very helpful, responsive. Location: on the other side of the river, but still a few minutes walk from the old town, castle, new town. A few restaurants and cafes very near. Easy to reach, which is important to consider if you have heavy luggage in Berat as most streets are rocky and steep. Very quiet: no traffic around, no noisy bars. It's not really a boutique hotel. The room is missing shelves and drawers, you need to keep your clothes in your bag essentially. The wardrobe is only to hang your clothes. The bathroom has no shelves either, so nowhere to put your vanities. The mattress was very uncomfortable, soft and wobbly. I know it is really a petty thing, but I got charged with a generally used exchange rate, which made me pay a bit more than advertised. Breakfast is bland, the omelette soaking in oil. It's from 8 to 10 in case you want to leave early. The hotel does not have a parking and it doesn't advertise it either, but consider that you can't park on the street and you need to find a parking space, which if the area is crowded can be pretty far away.

Gorgeous room overlooking the courtyard. Preferred staying on this side of the river - good parking and we enjoyed looking at old town. Everything is within an easy walk. Wonderful breakfast.

The location was perfect. Easy to get to. Our room was comfy and breakfast was excellent. There was no shower curtain or anything to keep the room from getting wet. Otherwise, nothing.

The hospitality was off the charts, the staff was so kind. I came down with a cold when we arrived and they were all so kind, making extra tea for me and making a breakfast tray for my husband to bring to the room for me. On top of that, the hotel itself is so charming and clean, plus the bed was very comfortable! Location is perfect with a view of St Michael's church, walking distance to everything but tucked into a quiet spot.

Gentleman who served us breakfast(looks like he is the owner) was very kind, breakfast was superb, bed was comfortable. Location is perfect, in the heart of berat. Parking is not available so you have to park nearby, private parking(5euros per day). It could be bit noisy since they have restaurant below rooms, however generally very pleasant stay. None
