We would have preferred some softer pillows, but this is a matter of preference. We missed having some small desk/table inside the room and also a sink in the common area. We had some issues opening the windows in the morning due to people smoking outside on the shared terrace.

If you are planning to visit Bergamo, Quarenghi 16 is a place to stay. Located at a very heart of this beautiful city, it is 1- or 2-minutes’ walk from all the attractions you need to see, restaurants, pizzerias, trattorias etc. Even cable which takes you to old town, located at the hill over Bergamo, is few minutes walking distance. Apartment is perfectly clean and cleaning is on daily basis. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our host introduced us with all the necessary information upon our arrival, and helped with all the extra request we had. Even though it is located in the center, it is absolutely quiet. Apartment is cozy and very comfort. There is private garage as well, not expensive, worth every penny.

The hotel was in a very good location and the owner was very kind to let us check in early. It was raining pretty hard when we got to Bergamo and we were soaking wet when we arrived at the hotel at around 10am. It was too early for check in and we were freezing cold but we were really grateful they allowed us to check in as soon as they finished cleaning the room.

Extremely clean and modern room with a good shower and bathroom. You could have had a family of three there, so the price would have been extremely reasonable per person. I paid a little over $100 US on my own. It would have been better for me personally if it were a bit closer to the upper part of the city, which has the most historic things. Others may want to be closer to shopping and restaurants, which it is.

comfortable beds. The wall to neighbours bathroom in room 3 is so thin, that you hear the ventilation and all personal sounds as if they took place in your own room. our neighbours showered half the evening, dry blowed their hair, the ventilation went on for ages and the toilet was used 3 times that night. we had to use earplugs. for a room costing more than € 200,- a night, this is not acceptable.

The accommodation is very close to bus stops, train station about 12-15 minutes walk. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. There's plates and cutlery, a microwave and kettle in the common area. Theres also coffee available. There's a little terrace for smoking. The room is big, clean and has towels, soap, shower gel, shampoo. We visited beginning of November so the room was nice and warm and had lovely thick duvets. There's glasses and a small fridge in the room. There's a pizza place just 2 doors down if you arrive late, they're open until about 11pm apart from Sundays. Lots of amenities around, lots of cafes and restaurants to pick from. We really enjoyed our stay at Quarenghi 16. There's no plug points near the beds apart from the mini fridge. The plug points are the 3 pin type L. We had european 2 pin that didn't fit them. The round ones are just in the bathroom so we used those and the mini fridge as we didnt use the mini fridge.. I'm not sure of the wall 3 pin plugs work, they seem to sink in the wall.
