Casa Mario Lupo

A beautiful place to stay, right in the heart of Bergamo ulta.. but still quiet. Loved staying here. The room was super spacious; felt like I am in an another era. The owner is a lovely person too.

This was a great experience, I don't have any negatives.

What a wonderful stay! Exceptional hosts. Seriously one of the best hosts we have ever had in all of our stays in Europe. They went above and beyond to help us and made us feel like we were family. Bergamo is a precious gem, especially Citta Alta! The churches were gorgeous, the food was delicious and the people were so kind. We couldn’t have had a better first experience in this sweet town. Our room was lovely, the beds were extremely comfortable and we were greeted every morning by the church bells outside of our window. The garden was charming. Perfectly located to everything we wanted to see and quiet at night. We would 100% come back and stay at Mario Lupo. Grazie Mille!!

Perfect location to explore Citta Alta and very close to bus stop to get to the lower Bergamo, train and bus stations and airport. Exceptionally clean and spacious apartment in one of the old buildings in town . Apartment had lots of charm and authenticity. Friendly, helpful and responsive manager and team.

Gian was very pleasant and accommodating when we met him to check in. Location was excellent!! Close to shops and restaurants. The town is charming. The loud adjacent bell tower ringing throughout the day and into the evening was a big negative. The four flights of stairs to get to our room was a negative. I should have asked for a lower-level room. Would prefer more than one towel each for the three nights. No instructions for returning the keys when we finished our stay. Bed was very low to the ground. Hard for seniors to use.

Location is the best; the host is lovely and the breakfast is delicious. The first few nights were a little cold; I might have liked a better way to control the temperture in my room.

The apartments are situated in the historic building in the heart of old part of beautiful Bergamo. It was very comfortable, quiet and safe. The staff was very friendly, kind and accommodating. The small pretty garden was a bonus.

I liked the quiet location, super clean, great bed, good breakfast and a wonderful host who went out of his way to help me. I hope to come back and stay longer. Thank you. No complaints at all

Very close to main square, nice location and kind staff. Highly recommended

The accomodation was lovely. There were 2 of us, but we had a whole apartment with 3 good sized beds -the 2 we slept in were both comfortable. We loved that there was a living space with table to do a jigsaw on in the evening. Host was very helpful and explained all the keys to access the property clearly. Location was excellent - 5 minutes to restaurants and the cathedral. I would certainly stay there again if I came back to Bergamo I bought my own tea bags and milk because I'd seen a previous reviewer comment on the lack of tea/ coffee in the accomodation, so that would have been a nice touch to have.
