With original stone flooring, this 18th-century coaching inn is close to the medieval town center, 2625 feet from Beverley Rail Station and Beverley Minster. Fully refurbished in 2018, it has free on-site parking, rooms with attached bathroom and a restaurant. The interior seamlessly blends many original features from 1794, including the arches in the old kitchen, with more modern artwork, log fires and woodburners. The rooms are individually designed and feature flat-screen TVs, hairdryers, work desks and tea/coffee. The private bathrooms have showers and toiletries. Downstairs the bar and lounges are open throughout the day for drinks, coffee and snacks, and the light airy restaurant features an open kitchen where you can watch the Chefs at work. All the food is freshly cooked and features many local and regional producers. Outside there’s a large sheltered courtyard with Champagne bar and booth seating. It offers good transport links to York, Leeds Hull, Doncaster and Sheffield.

The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, good breakfast with lots of choice, car park had lots of room for parking, and no noise from out side or inside through the night to keep you awake . Could not find any faults with our stay.

Hotel and food was great. Car got broken into but not very helpful, left us to it until a young girl came to help on her was to work

Absolutely characterful hotel enhanced with modern facilities and the meals we had were delicious. During what was probably an unprecedented summer which we’re not normally used to, rooms could be enhanced in future by air conditioning rather than just a fan for the room.

Location was great and the rooms very comfortable Breakfast was good although on the slow side and they had run out of some of the dishes in the evening. What we had was very good. Parking was extremely difficult and not very well organised.

The decor, friendly staff and the view from our window was the cathedral across the road. No aircon in the room, but we had a fan instead.

Fabulous hotel, everything was top class just couldn't fault anything Updated to a beautiful room, had a delicious dinner and breakfast. Will definately be returning!

This is a wonderful hotel and I've stayed here a couple of times. Breakfast is very good. The rooms are good, as well as the location. Front Desk does not have any amenities in case you've forgotten something, e.g., a toothbrush, toothpaste. Unfortunately, I arrived without my suitcase (which was not on my flight, but on a later flight) and I did not have a toothbrush/toothpaste, etc.

Signature room met expectations, excellent breakfast, dining room well staffed and all staff were superb. Rather limited dinner menu didn't match the overall standard of the hotel though cooking, presentation and service was very good

Very comfortable room - huge bathroom with walk-in shower AND a bath, plus 2 washbasins. Great choice at breakfast and all freshly cooked - lovely.

Really comfy bed. Had room upgrade which I wasn't expecting. Excellent room. Lovely location Nice breakfast. Excellent staff Would definitely stay again. Breakfast could be slow at busy times but to be fair they do point out when busy times are. I'm only putting this because I can't fault anything else.
