My parents and I visited Binz for a night during their trip to Germany. We chose this property because of its location, the availability of a family suite, and the positive ratings. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way! From the moment we arrived for check-in, everyone we interacted with at Hotel Meersinn was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were a little worried that my imperfect German skills might pose a barrier, but the staff spoke excellent English and was very warm and welcoming. Then, when we saw our suite, we were wowed: it was spacious, spotless, filled with convenient amenities, and the town views from its various rooms were lovely. The bedding was very comfortable too. I would even say that the Hotel Meersinn far surpassed another highly-rated property that I'd visited in Binz the previous year. Hotel Meersinn also has a fantastic location: you can easily walk to this hotel from the train station (takes between 10–15 min.), and within a few minutes of walking from the hotel itself (perhaps just 2 or 3), you reach the beach. The hotel has tasty food options on-site, and it's also extremely close to various bakeries and restaurants within the town and along the beach-front promenade. The staff even allowed us to leave our bags with them after check-out so that we could spend a little more time exploring the town before catching our train. Every detail of our stay was fantastic. All of us would recommend it without hesitation! No complaints! This is an exceptional property. :)

The only draw back: parking is not reserved. If you drive out, someone else could come and park at your place. They must issue a „reserve“ poster or something when parking is alotted to someone.

Location good. Breakfast ok. Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was disappointing and didn’t meet expectations. Right upon arrival, I was left with a bad impression due to the entrance, which was poorly marked and uninviting. The reception experience was equally frustrating, as the staff seemed unprepared to handle guests’ needs and lacked professionalism. Before booking, I was informed that the pool would be available, but upon arrival, I discovered it was closed with no reopening date. This lack of transparency made the experience even more unpleasant, especially considering how hot it was during my stay. Speaking of heat, the room was uncomfortably warm, and the ventilation system seemed inadequate. This discomfort was worsened by the room’s condition; the carpet had visible stains, which compromised any sense of cleanliness and care for the space. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory. The issues with infrastructure and service make it clear that this hotel needs urgent improvements to provide a minimally pleasant stay for its guests. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and peace.

The room was very clean, the hotel is pet friendly and they offered discounts for some restaurants that we could use. We stayed at the end of the September and the swimming pool was closed. However, they offered us to go to the swimming pool of another hotel which is nearby.

Nothing Terrible Experience – Don’t Stay Here! Our stay at this hotel was a complete disaster from the start. Upon arrival, we were given a key to a room that was already occupied! After several room changes, we ended up in a completely different category of room, which was supposed to be "better" but was far from it. The room was unappealing, in a different building, and nothing like what we had booked. Worse still, we were informed that our originally booked room was given to another guest who extended their stay. How is that even possible? To make matters worse, the hotel is poorly maintained and clearly neglected. The walls are dirty, the furniture is in bad shape, and the whole place feels rundown. We also tried using the spa, only to find it a mess – no towels, broken lights in the changing rooms, cold saunas, and a drained pool. The pump kept making noise, ruining what little atmosphere there was. We complained about all of this, but no one ever responded, and we received no compensation. Even though they moved us to the correct room the next day, the staff was incredibly arrogant and dismissive. The entire experience has been awful, and I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to stay away. The service and quality of the hotel do not match the high price at all. Absolutely not worth it!

Very clean and spacious room, variety of food options downstairs. Very convenient location right in the center of Binz, walking distance to everything. No AC. We were lucky it wasn’t too hot, so we kept our balcony door open, however the smell from the food cooking right underneath the balcony was very strong. Pool and pool area definitely need upgrading, a little outdated. The room itself is really nice, but the constant food smell was a little overwhelming.

Beautifully maintained hotel just a two minute walk from the beach. My room was great, very comfortable and plenty of space. Bathroom was also excellent. The facilties at the hotel were excellent with a variety of food and drink to choose from. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Pet friendly (dogs and cats are welcome). Parking on sight; you can unload everything from your car in the garage on a cart and take an elevator directly to your floor, very convenient and efficient! Overall - 10 out of 10, I definitely recommend this hotel! Parking was tight for our big SUV, but we managed ;)
