The room was beautiful ; lovely high ceiling , comfortable bed, tasteful decor and furniture and I loved the hare theme . It had all the facilities needed . It was easy to access , spotlessly clean and quiet. The lounge with nespresso machine was a lovely addition too . The restaurant in the pub next door was superb and the breakfast was fabulous . Nothing .

Lovely boutique hotel, with period features complemented by modern decor. Spacious bay-windowed bedroom, large comfy bed, modern bathroom. The keyless entry system worked well and all communication was excellent. Breakfast at the pub next door was very good. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we needed a hotel in Birmingham. Service in the restaurant was slightly slow on our first morning. But only a minor niggle.

Location, staff and cleanliness The room was awful - sink in the room, window in poor condition, net curtain and view onto roof ducting and very scruff outside; this was a room with a view supposedly!

Highfield house is well presented. Everything you might need for a comfortable stay can be found in your room and extra coffee and milk available in the lounge. Good communication before arrival. The breakfast in the pub next door was delicious and there was lots of choice. Parking outside the property available. n/a

The room was very quiet and clean. The staff in the pub next door really nice. The shower. Water pressure not great, seems that it was impossible to use the smaller shower only, and the mount on the wall was flimsy. Ventilation was not working.
