The room was styled absolutely amazingly. I would rather stay at a Boutique hotel than a chain because of the charm of boutique hotels. Attention to detail with tea and coffee was lovely. I will continue to praise this hotel, but I do need to put a disclaimer about the stairs when going to the rooms in the loft/attic area. The stairs are narrow and steep. One who has any physical limitations should be aware and advised. Lastly, we had the radiator fully open (5-level), but it wasn't until around 1800 hours that the boiler was turned on and the heat began to warm the room. It was very cold in the room prior to the heat being turned on.

Enjoyed the creative design of the room - we had Babylon. Loved the bath in the room and most of all the quality of the beds and bed linen was top notch - we had a very comfortable night. The restaurant provided wonderful tasty dishes. An extra chair in the room would have been a bonus.

Wow. What an incredible stay. The property only has a few rooms, and they are all themed differently. The space in the rooms is wonderful and the roll top bath in the room was perfect for a relaxing night in. The on site restaurant was also fabulous. Above all, the staff were all welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for our comfort. The onsite parking was great for arriving by car. Not much to say here… there wasn’t really anything we didn’t like. I suppose, it’s important to note that it’s a period property, so be aware that there are stairs and no lift. And, as an older building, there is character and a little movement etc. but it’s lovely, spacious, charismatic and a great place to stay. Modern meets artistic.

Beautiful room and bar/dining room. Staff were exceptional.

As a solo travelling woman who didn't know the city, and after a quite unsettling stay somewhere else recently, this was a safe, quiet oasis. Staff welcoming and helpful, room quiet and comfortable, and more luxurious than I expected for the price. Most importantly felt safe, in the area as well as the hotel. Would definitely stay again. Nothing really, maybe more breakfast options for lighter appetites, though what is offered is amazing.

The room was great, and had some lovely little bonus' like chocolates in the room etc. Had some food at the restaurant that was really nice. Lovely amenities in the room. Bed was huge and comfortable. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. There are no staff on site on a night. There was a panic button outside the room that a member of staff showed me when showing me the room. And just overall knowing this, I had a bad nights sleep. Also you can hear any noise from the corridor of people arriving back quite loudly, doors slamming etc. So yeah overall had a really bad nights sleep.
