Distance to amenities Hotel was run down, dirty, smelt of stale cigarettes and pets Pillow cases has mould on them Bathroom filthy No chair in bedroom as described in pictures Sink hanging away from pedestal Mould and grime round shower Blood or some kind of red dirt over bedside cabinet No plugs near bed Prior to arrival requested room next to lift without steps, due to mobility issues yet put in a room with steps to climb Also requested prior to visit and the n arrival a shower chair, as I'm unable to stand in shower unaided, no chair, requested again before going out for the day came back to nothing, partner went down to chase to be advised they were in other rooms they would get me one Saturday- I left Sunday still waiting Shower water cold Due to no shower chair asked for some towels for the floor in order to no help me get in and out safely, told max 2 per person so no consideration given for my circumstances. My mobility issues relate to spinal surgery and any slips and falls could result in complete paralysis hence my requests I specifically researched and called this hotel prior to booking to ensure they could accommodate my needs and was advised they could- but no requests were honoured, if I could have moved hotels easily on arrival I certainly would have Only came across one staff member but he was lacking in customer service skills and empathy

Good standard of accommodation for the price paid. Breakfast was good, stayed for 4 nights, more than happy! I thought the hotel had a pool, but it was the hotel next door, cost of 5£ to use, no major issue for us but there were families that were annoyed that this wasn't made clear on booking

Great location opposite tram stop with great view of promenade The room was too small for 3 adults. Couldn't use the dressing table as couldn't pull out chair due to single bed touching the back of it. Also the tv was on there and not on bracket on wall so not much room to make a cuppa as the kettle was on a bedside cabinet to accommodate the tv on dressing table! No ventilation in bathroom at all, shower head was too weak for showers so had to have bath. On 3rd night it was so windy the noise in bathroom was like someone playing a harmonica. It was blowing through the roof and catching the cladding in bathroom so we had to shut door to block out noise. Wardrobe door was hanging off so reported to reception and fixed quite quickly. We also never found a remote or worked out how to turn tv on (hardly watch tv anyway so not bothered by this) Breakfast was included too but only went 1st morning as was too late for the other mornings as we had to be at dance comp by 8.30am but breakfast didn't start till then. £485 for 3adults for 4nights was a cheap option for us, but I wouldn't have paid anymore for this place. If you want cheap and cheerful, take earplugs for room 406 and you'll be fine.

Good location and good breakfast The bathroom had no shower door or screen, poor water pressure it like dribbled out, but water still went everywhere. The bathroom flooring could do with a revamp too as it was chipped and lifting up, kids hurt their toes on it

Looks nice and staff are nice. The woman on he desk was lovely Couple of dirty cups in room
-
The room was not vaced was stuff under the beds, cracked floor in the bathroom, sink had black mold in and the glass had dry toothpaste in the bottom. The breakfast was shocking food wasn't cooked properly and raw
-
I loved the location The hotel looks worse than a care home, looks old, needs upgrading even the smell in the hotel. Everywhere you can see chairs for disabled people even in our bathroom, we had just a chair, no shower curtain or bathtub. The walls looked clean, freshly painted but the carpet was old and dusty with holes in the wood floor underneath. My bed was squeaky and the mattress was tired sagging. I even found a cigarette behind the bedside. I won't go back.

The room was a good size and just what we wanted right on the front It says that there is entertainment but it was only karaoke and then the man left promptly at 11.00. Very dispensing.

The staff were brilliant, they were very accommodating and helpful. Really nice people. We knew what we paid for when we booked the accommodation it was a very good price for 5 of us half board. The room we stayed in was comfortable, just a little rough round the edges, but did us perfectly for the few nights we were there

The breakfast was ok The room was dirty All bed linen was stained with visible stains The bathroom had hair all over the floor. I originally booked 3 nights but after I arrived and saw how bad it was I had to book two nights in another hotel.
