The staff are clearly doing a good job of keeping the place as clean as possible without having a budget to repair the things that need repairing The first room we were given didn't lock, the next room the toilet wouldn't flush unless you pumped it up and down quickly and repeatedly, the window didn't have a handle so couldn't be closed. The owner needs to put their hands in their pocket and do some much needed maintenance. We had to be shown how to flush the toilet and were told oh yeah they're all like this

For the price your paying + how close to the beach it is you can’t knock it off The bed was so outdated

The bed was okay The property wasn’t clear that there isn’t someone on site most of the time , I turned up at 1:30pm to ask about parking to no answer at the door nor the phone , email ect. I then went back at 2:40pm and was on the phone to booking.com just after 3pm when they called to say someone would be round in 5/10 minutes. The window handle wasn’t attached meaning I couldn’t close the window. There was a drip or something constant outside the window so was very annoying that it wouldn’t close. Toilet didn’t flush properly . The shower was covered in black mould. The carpet was disgusting. The plug socket didn’t work properly , meaning i could only plug in 1 thing at a time. The service from the person who checked us in was nice enough but I probably would just pay a little extra next time and book somewhere else

Used as a base to visit the Winter Gardens which it's an excellent location for, plenty of bottled water for when I arrived, no problem with a hot shower with decent towels and the bed surprisingly comfy. Well, don't expect luxury, it's a room only place which did it's job for me but for all my positives, there were negatives. For starters, the toilet seat would slip about and the handle took some spinning before flushing. Also, the room door was fairly easy to push open without a key and my pal had the same issues with his toilet and door too but he had the added bonus of a hole in the bathroom floor

The bed was comfy that was all I made full use of the floordrobe as there wasn't one available also made use of the pub table in the room insteadofa bed side there was no bin in the room but luckily i went shopping and had a bag. The window had no latch so didn't seal properly so quite noisy even though I was on the top floor I could still hear outside noises. I asked for more milk and was told it would be left by my door and never was.
