Location was perfect as I was attending a concert at winter gardens which is just around the corner. Clean cosy hotel and great value for money, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Central to absolutely everything. Clean and very comfortable. Wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Location of the hotel The shower was either really hot or really cold
-
Upgraded to a freeb breakfast/ No lift..unexpected number of stairs

The location was good as we wanted to be close to Winter Gardens. Breakfast was very good and options excellent, couldn't fault it. Room a little too basic. Shower didnt work properly and the bathroom floor needed a clean especially behind the door. The table in the room felt it was about to collapse- very wobbly. Could have done with a chair in the room as advertised in the pictures. Curtain rail could do with support in the middle.

The staff were friendly, location great. Not clean, not sure the carpets had seen a vacuum cleaner in some time. Cheap beds. Not much to like I'm afraid. Real shame as it's in a great place and has potential. I wasn't expecting a palace for what I paid but I was expecting it to be clean.

Didn't stay due to the number of flights of stairs, too many for a disabled person of 73 so sorry. Went home instead.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. No problem was to big and they were always available when you needed them. Was offered free Breakfast which was a nice surprise. Def a upgrade from the last time I stayed there. Nothing to be honest.

In a perfect location to the beach and attractions There was no fault with the hotel

The staff were so friendly. Right from check in staff were fabulous and couldn’t do enough. We came for my daughter’s birthday and straight away were given free breakfast and a better room for her birthday!!! Hotel was clean, fairly quiet, great breakfast selection. Great location for what we needed. The only thing I have to moan about is my daughter couldn’t shower all weekend as the temperature was too hot and couldn’t be adjusted.
-
We couldn't get showers while we was there because the water in the shower was freezing or boiling hot so we couldn't get in at all we couldn't open the window so it was like an oven in the room
-
Loved the location of the Calypso as its close to Coral Island and the main promenade, the Indian attached to the hotel serves great food and reasonably priced, Adam and the team all are great to get along with The seagulls
-
It was all good. Breakfast wasn't included when it should have been for the price.

Metal bed frame not good on laminate flooring no hot water

The bed was clean. The only good thing about it The place was awful. It was a last minute booking as the place we booked was closed. The carpets throughout where threadbare. It's now also an indian restaurant. There where fights and arguments all through the night. The key to the main door also opened our room door, so theoretically doesn't that mean the key would open every door?? Absolutely shocking place.
