Walford Hotel

Breakfast The place needs redecorated and carpets need cleaning and replaced doors want replacement all together money spent in it

Staff friendly location excellent. The hotel was very dated. Rooms very small although bathroom was clean. Bed uncomfortable, very lightweight curtains up so awake very early. It was a reasonable price but in future I would rather pay extra and stay elsewhere.

The location of the hotel was excellent for going to the winter gardens and visiting the tower, beach and central & north piers. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we had to check out early on the last day and they offered to make us breakfast sandwiches for the train. there was a bar advertised onsite but we didn't see it open (perhaps it was open in the evening when were out, but no opening times were advertised as far as i could see) - this was a minor point though there are lots just up the road. only one key was offered for our room which meant we both had to arrange to come back together as the front door is locked after a certain time.

Breakfast was good the staff lovely idela location we came twice for the world matchplay at the winter gardens the rooms are small but ideal for a couple of nights stay for 2 people. Bit old fashioned but to be expected in Blackpool most hotels are this is definately one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in

Rooms clean and tidy, staff friendly and welcoming! Shower was cold, ran it for 10 minutes still cold, never could shower too cold, certain areas could do with lick of paint.

Central Easy access

The family running the places were helpful and friendly very welcoming and the breakfast is great Close to the tower and other amenities we will defo go again It probably isnt the most modern it was basic however was clean and so close to all amenities

The owners was very very welcoming went above and beyond for us can’t thank them enough Very close to Blackpool tower and the beach Short walk from Blackpool north station Room was perfect and so was the breakfast Absolutely nothing at all it was perfect

The owners was very nice, we had 3 children with us and asked as soon as we got there what they would eat for breakfast . Ive nothing that I didnt like

Really friendly welcome. Felt safe and comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Had trouble with shower no hot water. Should have run the tap until hot then put shower on but didn’t realise this. Should have asked! My fault, when I did ask just before I was about to leave but landlord very kindly showed me and had lovely hot shower! Maybe a sign for silly people like me to warn run sink tap first!

Pleasant

Although the property is filled with all your mod cons, it has everything you need.. The owners were so friendly, and wend above and beyond. My daughter had an early start for a dance show which was before breakfast, once the owners knew she would make breakfast they cooked her a lovely tasty bacon sandwich to take with her.
