Great value for money, centrally located, clean and functional room/bathroom. Felt like a new memory foam mattress. Very tasty English breakfast, efficiently served. Friendly staff. The flip side of the great central location virtually at the base of the Tower is that the area is very noisy - with people walking home until late at night and with deliveries to the shopping centre opposite very early in the morning. If this is likely to bother you, maybe get a room at the back and forego the Tower view!

I've been really disappointed by how dishonest the staff has been and what's happened recently. My phone was stolen outside the property. I asked the manager, Emra, to call the police for me, but he refused. I had been drinking with some friends, and some young lads tried to fight us. I left my phone with my friends because the young men had followed us, looking for trouble. When I came downstairs, I saw that one of the guys had been assaulted, and the phone had been taken by the young men. I asked Emra for help since I have an autoimmune disorder and couldn't manage to call the police due to the shock of what had happened. Emra refused to assist me. I left the property and had to contact the police from a cinema round the corner, where a staff member helped me. When the police and I requested the CCTV footage, we were told they don't record it, which is hard to believe, as there are several cameras around the building, including one right at the front in the window where the incident took place. I rang to confirm what the police told me about the cameras; this still hasn't been confirmed after four or five attempts, leaving my number and asking for clarification. When I rang, Emra's partner played dumb about the situation and wouldn't be straightforward. It's disappointing to see people treat others like this.

The room was nicely decorated with a very comfortable double bed that I slept very well in, and there was also a nice view of Blackpool Tower from the window. Amenities were well stocked and there was a decent amount of storage space for personal items. This hotel is an excellent choice if you are looking for a basic but clean and comfortable place to stay in Blackpool. The shower was quite small and the window was not totally soundproof, so a bit of noise can be heard from the street outside.

Breakfast was lovely, very fresh , nicely cooked. We have stayed here twice now , to go to the World Matchplay darts in The Winter Gardens which is literally around the corner . The Westholme is very central and we had no issues. We booked 3 rooms and price was very reasonable.
