No hot water for showers no plugs in shower or sink. wall paper hanging off the wall. Toilet seat stained off human waste smell

Although the room is classed as a single the bed was a small double and was comfy. There was a chair, which you don't get often, and a wardrobe. Plug socket right next to the bed.The wifi was good. The location is as central as you can get. The room desperately needs redecorating.The wallpaper is peeling off the walls and in some places feels damp. Flakes of plaster kept falling off the ceiling onto the bed. I had to pick some off my laptop keyboard. If they fixed this it would be a pretty nice room. I wasn't keen on the check-in arrangements. I got a message that the key was in a lock box outside the door, but there was no code for the box, it was left unlocked, so anyone could have taken the key if I'd got there later.

Location is great for transport links and for food and entertainment locations. 2 minutes walk from the coach station and similarly to the front. Plenty of bars and restaurants working a 5 minute walk means lots of choice. Can be a little noisy for those who sleep early due to the location and proximity to food and drink places. No issue for me but could be for some other travelers

Couldn't fault it, my room was exceptionally clean. Everything was fresh, the view was good. The bed was exceptionally comfortable (I have sciatica and slept great), the ensuite bathroom was a decent size. Again, shower hear was fixed in place but it's a "rain shower", hot water basically on demand. Great place, for what I paid well worth the money. Recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, comfortable place to stay. It is a no frills kind of place, no breakfast, good decent sized mugs for morning brews though. Easily within walking distance of either North or South Blackpool. Nothing, everything was spot on.
