The Aspire

The location was good for central attractions, It did help to have a fridge. Shower was powerful. It was dusty, pillows on the bed covered in thick dust, had to drag cases 3 doors down to get the key to check in, didn’t see a single member of staff after that. Servicing of room was just a toilet roll left extra a day on the bed, no beds made, no sweep of floor, clean towels etc. Bathroom hot tap didn’t work and cold tap swung around until eventually turning on, we had to flush toilet 4 times approx every time to get it to work. Had to stand on old rickety chairs to open / close windows. No curtains and the blinds were broken and didn’t shut the light out. So many of the items in the room were covered in dust, iron but no ironing board. Budget bed frames.

Location good and staff at reception friendly. Room wasn't spectacularly clean, hairs on pillows, no curtains just a little blind, window was open very wide when arrived resulting having to climb on the windowcil hanging out of the window to reach to close it. Didnt have towels in our room had to go ask which is at a hotel a few doors down. Cleaner then left our room door open all day, it was open when we arrived back at 9pm after a full day out!

You got what you pay for, had everything we needed Was very warm, out of owners control they did provide a fan but was great.

Nothing didn’t stay Everything. We arrived to a sign on the door saying pick keys up from a different hotel. Even though the listing states 24 hour front desk. We trudged our luggage down to the second hotel to be greeted by what I can only say was Jeremy Kyle’s reject reunion hanging outside with a can of super brew each. We picked the key for our room. With no ID check whatsoever. On approaching the property there was bed sheets hanging out of the windows. Opened the main door and the smell of rotting rubbish was overwhelming. We walked up the dark and dingy steps to the room, this was surprisingly clean but overlooks a derelict property with a strong smell of weed. We felt so unsafe we left, spent a couple of hours finding elsewhere. When I messaged the hotel apparently they have a live in manager at each hotel and own 6 hotels on the street. Luckily we managed to find alternative accommodation.

Not a lot really,,,unfortunately im sorry. It wasn't very clean. Dirty laundry left in the downstairs dining area and which led into main hallway and stairs. Photos used to describe accommodation were great but 3 rooms we had stayed in were not as good and clean as in Photos. We asked could we have a refund and were told by the manager ,no, which I fully expected. It took some convincing to our kids that it would be ok.

Location was great if you are attending an event at Winters Gardens, 3 minute walk away, room was clean and a reasonable size, I didn't have the breakfast as it was between 730-830 quite a small window, but there are loads of eating places nearby. I didnt have anything that I disliked, everything was ok on this trip.

For what I needed was great ( needed to be near wintergardens) No breakfast

Location Hallways and stairs were rather dirty and the bannisters were sticky with dirt.

Manager so helpful, hotel great location, would recommend No dislikes at all, hotel and staff were brilliant

Excellent location and room was ample for my Son and I. Hotel could do with a bit of TLC, but was spotlessly clean and super value for money. Would book again without hesitation. Nothing
