If you're looking for a consistently high-quality five-star experience, look elsewhere. This property fails to justify its premium pricing. The biggest issue isn't any single flaw—it's the lack of consistency. Too many aspects of the guest experience fall short of what the rates promise. Service lacks polish, communication with much of the staff often requires a translation app, and the on-site dining is underwhelming. To make matters worse, food, drinks, and other purchases throughout the property carry steep markups that seem to capitalize on the hotel's relatively isolated location. For a property positioning itself as a premium five-star destination, however, the overall experience falls materially short of expectations. Until the experience catches up with the pricing, it's difficult to recommend.

Our stay at Kaya Palazzo Bodrum was nothing short of exceptional. The staff, from Emir in guest relations to Samed at the front desk, and all staff across the pool, beach, and restaurant were very welcoming and helpful from day one. The room was spacious and well equipped, with beautiful, scenic views of the sea. The selection of food was well curated and delicious, and the beach area was magical. Would definitely visit again.

I loved the 200m long swim lane and the sun bathing area on the wooden patio. The „2-story town house“. Breakfast and a la carte restaurant. Low season with closed restaurant (but understandable). Upper swimming pool. No warm whirlpool, also not in SPA area. The evening buffet is per person too expensive.

I’m truly at a loss for words—Bodrum’s breathtaking beauty and the exceptional experience at Kaya Palazzo Hotel have left us completely overwhelmed in the best way possible. From the moment we arrived, the Le Chic VIP treatment made us feel so special, and every detail of our stay was simply perfect. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, the rooms spotless, and the scenery absolutely stunning. It’s a place we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable escape. In fact, we’re already dreaming about our next trip back to Bodrum! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our stay so wonderful—Amir, whose laughter brightened our days; Zina, who kept our suite immaculate with such care; Ergin, who made every breakfast feel like a treat; and all the amazing team members at Kaya Palazzo. Meeting you all was a true pleasure. We’ll miss you dearly and can’t wait to return. We’ll be sure to share our experience with friends so they can enjoy the same magic we did. Thank you for making our trip unforgettable—it truly meant the world to us. It is really expensive! ?

We did Full Board this year as well. The food is really amazing, 3 meals per day with local wine and raki included that is almost like all inclusive. We did not feel like we were missing anything with full board vs all inclusive. The opening hours of mealtimes suited us very nicely. The dining area is right next to the beach, and there are neoigh tables with shade. It was lovely to sit there. The 2 rooms we tried so far (superior sea view and superior land view) were very large with a huge bed. The location of the property is a short taxi drive from Bodrum, taxis were surprisingly cheap, the taxis come quickly. Valet parking is very easy. The staff is super friendly, trained well by Serhat Bey. The guests are a good mix of Turks and foreigners. There are not too many kids which is a positive for us. Most of the dining area staff members can speak basic English. I love that the beach area is quiet and there are almost no waves. It is pretty easy to get in, no need for water shoes. There is also a jetty. You can safely swim out to the buoy barrier and there is a floating platform to rest and sunbathe. We never had issues finding loungers with an umbrella, the staff will help you. Beach towels are plentiful. The wifi near the main buildings is good and if you have big issues you get your own router in the room. I would return! We tried Superior Seaview and Superior Land View so far. I have to say that the balcony area of the Land view was a bit disappointing since we tried seaview last year. Landview superior balconies are hot and humid due to the pool directly underneath and the closeness of the walls around. Land view may be good for the bridge seasons. Superior Seaview is worth the extra cost. The buggy ride to the beach and dining area was not a problem for us, this year the route was longer but felt less like a roller coaster. I would not recommend this place to people with mobility issues, but kids will love the buggy rides. Cleanliness in the room was somewhat of an issue, also last year. This year I complained and unfortunately a few complaints including one repair request went unresolved after our 8 day stay. Daily cleaning is perfectly fine, but in between guest deeper cleaning is needed. Long black hairs can unfortunately show up here and there when you check in. I recommend vacuuming properly before mopping. And towels, sheets, walls etc should be checked for hair and toothpaste spray between guests. One pet peeve I have is to have wash cloths provided, unfortunately this proved difficult second year in a row, I got some in the end after multiple requests. Requests to housekeeping via reception does not always work that well. As feedback to the hotel I would say you can fix by adding a house keeping manager with a more visible presence or you can add a late afternoon turn down service where housekeeping comes to check whether guests have enough supplies. I would add an extra toilet for beach goers, it was not clear which toilet to use while on the beach.

Everything was great - from the welcome we received at the outset (including early check in as we arrived a bit earlier compared to check in time). The person managing our entire visit was Emir (guest relations) who was superb throughout the trip. He was always available and the good thing is that they create a WhatsApp group where you can ask them questions and also raise any issues. We had full board and the food being served during breakfast, lunch and dinner was great with lots of variety each time around. The beach is very clean and despite it being being very hot the sea was perfect. The also have lifeguards on duty at all times at the beach. Gym facilities were also very good. Buggies take you from the reception to the beach and to the restaurants. They are running all the time and everyone taking us back and forth were great - want to do a special shout out to Hasan/Samet (buggies and the main entrance), Elvira (guest relations), Ergin (at the restaurant in charge of guests). Would have been good to have some music, entertainment in the evenings as otherwise with kids below 18 you cannot go enjoy the music outside in the city. Would be nice to also have pool tables and possibly table tennis tables for entertainment for kids in the age bracket of 11-17 Rest is great.

Quality of Rooms and accessibility No encourage to go to city destinations , or low knowledge about good restaurants . The food prices is unbelievable like a fine dining restaurant

It was fine They seem desperate for money. One example. They provided a taxi for me back to airport. They asked for the number of bags. We gave them the six bags and said they will pack in van. They only packed 3 bags. Instead of apologizing. They blamed me and forced me to pay 60 dollars to deliver. The hotel is nice. Service can be much better for money you spend.

super friendly staff especially ameer good guys cares about his guests it was all wonderful

Everything is spacious and clean. I came here to relax with my mum for a couple days and that’s exactly what we did. You don’t have to leave the resort if you don’t want, there’s a hamam, beach, you can have all meals there but one or two days we went exploring nearby and the city is also very beautiful (around 15mins by car from the city centre). But I could’ve stayed 5days straight there ! We got the property that has access to the pools and it was really nice as you can relax there too. The breakfast options are really good, with great variety. One thing I wish I did was when I arrived at the property it was very late so we jsut settled in. They give you info about what to do in the city but I wish I asked exactly what was included in my stay (I.e. didn’t know there was a hamam till the last two days). Serhat, Süleyman, all off the workers have been superb! Especially there is a worker also at the breakfast table (a shame I forgot his name) but he spoke Arabic with my mother too and made sure that if she needed a glass of water that she had it. All in all the staff are all amazing from reception, to the beach guards, EVERYONE! ??? Literally nothing.

Our stay at Kaya Palazzo Bodrum was truly exceptional — so much so that we extended it by an extra night. A special thanks goes to Serhet, Emir, and Mevlüt, who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. From securing exclusive discounts outside the hotel to ensuring every detail was handled promptly, they — along with the rest of the team — were outstanding. From check-in to check-out, the service was seamless and personal. We were welcomed with a dedicated WhatsApp group for guest relations upon arrival, which made communication easy and quick throughout our stay. The room was spacious, with beautiful views, a smart layout, and excellent sleep quality. Housekeeping was consistent and responsive. While the in-room tech could use some upgrades, everything else was on point. The beach is private, clean, and family-friendly, offering a relaxing, exclusive vibe. Although we didn’t use the pool or spa, the facilities looked premium and well-maintained. We enjoyed the breakfast and in-room dining, with pizza being a highlight. Service was fast, and presentation was clean and simple. The hotel is in a great location — close to Bodrum’s old town while still offering privacy and a luxurious atmosphere. For the level of service and experience, it’s definitely worth the price. Highly recommended — and we’ll definitely return.
