Bretanide Sport & Wellness Resort

Our stay was truly unforgettable. The location is absolutely incredible: the property is situated in a beautiful historic house in the heart of Bari’s old town, surrounded by centuries of history and authentic local life. Walking through the narrow streets and living in such a historic setting makes you feel remarkably close to another era. What made our stay even more exceptional was the host. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about sharing the local culture, they made us feel at home from the very first moment. We experienced Italy in a much more authentic and personal way and felt the true spirit of Italy. Everything easily accessible and helpful staff. The clearing of tables in the restaurant was amazing! And we got upgraded to a superior room. Liked the walkway into Bol.with the bars! And liked the fact there was a separate quieter pool at the resort, with no screaming kids and balls flying about. Also - we had teenagers, so didn't use this, but this is a great resort for those with younger kids too, evening entertainment, dancing and activities provided. The rooms were fairly small. Boys balcony was tiny! Don't know what standard rooms would have been like. Also - first world problems - would have been nice to be able to have a glass of rosé and a few crisps with pre-dinner drinks...too hot for red wine and I don't like white! One final note - sunbed reserving on the small beach opposite the hotel was horrific, all beds empty but reserved by 08:30...the staff helped by giving me a couple of portable sun loungers with wheels so we could set up anywhere, and these were great, however it annoyed me that people weren't very considerate.

Excellent location for the best beaches in the area.Within easy walking distance of the ferry port and bars.The staff are lovely as we're the other guests, all being German so great for picking up some new phrases.Food was buffet style eating with good flavour and always hot and fresh, near the downstairs bar is a italian style bistro included in the hotel, this we used most days for lunch. Drinks the usual all-inclusive low quality types but drinkable.Stunning area but do take lots of insect repellant.Lovely beach at bottom of hotel with sunbeds free to hotel guests, towels on by 6.30 if you want one.Crystal clear waters stunning. There are a lot of steps which may not suit everyone.The room we had ( I asume was a standard) I feel was over priced small and lacked attention to detail regards cleaning( mouldy ice cube tray in freezer empty minibar bottles in fridge)air con was broken at the switch so only worked with a good fiddle, shower head broken.

Excellent location on seaside, marvellous sea view from suite, nice outdoor pools with many sun-beds, nice though small wellness area, many sports possibilities, some are with animators, trainer, very kind and helpful staff, all food and beverage are on self-service, variety and quality of food are top notch 4* hotel. All of our special requests have been fulfilled quickly and well done. Stylish and cosy 'Komin' outdoor restaurant on the slope of the hill for a unique mediterranean roast dinner with outstanding service. Bike rental just next to the hotel. Beaches are in few minutes walk. We loved the place and hospitality of Bretanide Hotel, we enjoyed the spacious superior suite with a large terrace supplied with sunbeds and parasol. Liked the cats walked around in hotel gardens area :) Restaurant and lobby got crowded when new tourist groups have checked in. Bike rental assistant was not very kind at first time, later he moderated himself.

Great views, great pools, lovely staff, food buffet was great for every meal! They didn’t provide a hairdryer for my room nor shampoo/conditioner so be mindful to pack those!

The location was really good. Zlatni Rat beach is very close. Also, there were a lot of food and drink stands and restaurants within walking distance. The WIFI in the room was terrible. Most of the time we were not able to connect. TV channels as well were not working, and most of the channels were in German. The water in the toilet was always hot. Cold water was not available. The food in the restaurant was a bit bland. The evening parties were a bit boring, they were adapted for older people. Overall the price was a bit high for the service and amenities provided.

The food was very good, lots of different dishes to collect. I like the location of the hotel very much. The hotel offers many opportunities for individual and organized activities. The room is very small. The bed was too small for two people. We were here before sezon started, so the majority of the tourists were seniors..

the pool areas / gym and beach access the rooms were like cells with small windows food was boring and repetitive the stairs !

Food really surprising for an All-inclusive hotel. Italian restaurant open during hours the buffet was closed. Beach in front very nice and with hotel infrastructure. Pools also very nice and big. Famous golden horn beach at walking-distance as well. Rooms could be bigger. Cocktails and sauna could be included in the all-inclusive.

The location of it was fantastic, few meters away from beautiful beaches and Bol. We were fairly disappointed that there wasn’t any activities for kids since it was mid September and the activities for kids are only during July/August. We felt like foreigners inside the resort since 98% of the activities, greetings, information and signs are in German. Not even in English/Croatian. It felt like the resort was exclusively done for German speaking people. We also realised that we were only 1-2 more families in the whole resort since most of the people were 50-60+ years old… Nothing wrong with this but the activities, buffet times, music, entertainment was very different to our expectation. Also, the all inclusive alcoholic drinks selection was fairly poor and it didn’t include any cocktails.

100% caters to the Germans.. all German tv channels.. only English Channel is bbc news.. I think we were the only non Germans there

My recent stay at Hotel Bretanide in Bol Brač was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff who went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's location is breathtaking. The facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. I would like to give a special thanks to Šerif, the barman, and Dominik, the animator guy, for their exceptional service during my stay. Šerif's drinks were always refreshing and perfectly mixed, and he was always happy to chat and make recommendations. Dominik's energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and he kept us entertained with fun activities throughout the day. Both Šerif and Dominik are exceptional employees, and I believe they would make excellent directors in the future. I highly recommend Hotel Bretanide to anyone looking for a fantastic vacation spot in Bol Brač.

Food, location and staff The night show from the animation staffs. Need more preparation and different activities for night show, like some perfomance dancing , karoake anything like that. The staffs was doing just some movements without knowing what to do.

perfect location. easy waking distance of bol and zlatni rat. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Lots going on in local area. Very buzzy area. the staff on reception on arrival were unhelpful in sorting out a problem caused by the hotel. it was eventually rectified but only after me involving booking.com. that’s my only criticism though.
