Hostel Il Nosadillo - Bologna

The staff way chill, friendly and always, always helpful. They gave excellent suggestions of places to eat out. Breakfast was more than enough to start the day and the living room/breakfast room feels cozy, a bit like a shared home. I could leave my luggage at the their locker and also take a shower after checkout, before heading to the airport. This helped a lot as it was super hot in Bologna that day.

Breakfast could have been a little heavy.

I unfortunately get a room with some maniac who was loud and singing (shouting) the first few hours of my stay; I couldn't sleep; However, he shut his mouth upon arrival of other people BUT he was constantly awake and banging things in the room (ITS NOT HOSTEL FAULT OFCOURSE); Moreover, the toilet has a leakage and their were many wet towels around the sink to avoid water from filling the toilet;

Bathroom needs serious cleaning.

Inability to lock the room when outside, is weird. The main area is very small. it's kitchen, reception and dinner room all at once. Not to mention bathroom door also opens into kitchen. Unfortunately for me The breakfast was very bad, insufficient. There was literally no bread on my first morning despite that it was just 9.00 and the hostel already doesn't have much capacity. They "refill" the cream cheese, yogurt etc. God knows when, most of them were empty. The street which the hostel is on, gets extremely noising during the night. it's impossible to sleep windows open.

Location was perfect, near the track of Via Degli Dei. Enough variety for breakfast. Walking distance to the center. And Sara was a great host!!

Noise isolation in the bathroom in my room was bad. I could hear everything coming from inside even 7-8m away in my bed, which is bad for that person's privacy.

The staff were helpful in answering questions about the city and the costs that appeared on my card. The bathrooms on the ground floor were not the best. One had a tight shower and other shower the doors kept coming off the rails. The bathrooms near the reception were much more spacious and modern. A short tour of the kitchen would be helpful to know where the plates and glasses are located. Do we rinse and store the dirty plates in the dish washer, is that the preferred method? The glasses are stored on a cabinet, though labeled but everyone searches for them above the stove.

Responsive. Clean. Decent. Slightly expensive for what it is. They don’t provide shower gel.

It was clean an neat. Other people in the room were so inconsiderate and noisy. I get in bed at 10, but there were people coming and going to the room until 1:00 am. They made noise and turned their cellphones lights all around the room, etc. Also the noises from room''s parquet and door lock were so annoying.

Location breakfast and high speed WiFi Luggage storage opposite door can be open by anyone not safe and lockers are key based and you can’t use own lock

Also our room was fully booked and they moved us to an other one with bathroom inside which was really convenient The volunteers that were working there weren’t really helpful. The last night the toilet in our bedroom was dropping water when we arrived and after talking with the volunteer in charge he told us to use an other toilet instead. He didn’t bother to check or try to solve it. It was making a lot of noise and it was next to our beds so we decided to fix it ourselves. It would have been nice not to do others people jobs.

The location, the rooms, the amenities, they have towels.

It was hard to rest and have privacy at the common Rooms , there were no curtains at the beds

Nice communal area - easy to meet people, especially at breakfast as all around 1 table. Nice breakfast - with cereal, eggs, rolls and cake Privacy curtains on the beds. Good location as reasonably close to centre Really helpful staff - offered ne breakfast when I arrived early in morning cannot think of anything.
