We were catching an early train the next morning and the hotel's location across the street was perfect for the station. Had we not needed access to the train station early the next morning we would have chosen a different area, closer to historic sites we could walk to.

The location was right across the street from the train station and staff were so friendly. I arrived at 10 am and the front desk initially asked me to come back at check in time. As I was asking to see if I could check in one hour early, the wonderful front desk staff allowed me to check in because she had a clean room available. The AC was set at 19 deg C- This was priceless. No complaints.

Clean and comfortable and right across the street from the train station A little old and creaky, needs some refreshing

Location is excellent!

Just across the road from the train station. Perfect location for a very early morning train trip. Breakfast was from 5-10 am so great for the early train ride. Floor could have been cleaner.

The location was fabulous. The room was on the interior of the building so no road noise. The room was in good condition. The wifi didn't work. I steared them to problems with the router and not the Wifi equipment. They contacecd the provider but did not resolve the problem within my stay. My phone had cellular connectivity, so no real issue.

n/a bedspread was thin and ugly

our room was spacious, had a large bed, a small loveseat and a desk; also, we made use of the small elevator. We chose the hotel by the location right across from the train station and along the tram line, so we were able to take the tram both into the old town and out to the airport. The receptionist was very nice about letting us leave our luggage in a safe lockup (so we could sightsee) since we arrived at 11 am. The modernized hotel is historic with a charming lobby sitting area and interesting artwork, as well as a convenient toilet. The pillows were not comfortable and the street noise woke up my husband earlier than he had planned -- We like to open windows at night for air but the noise was problematic. The breakfast was disappointing given the charge.

Excellent location across from the train terminal. Easy to get around to the metro and city sights. Great staff and wonderful reception desk with good English communication. Their breakfast was very good even though we only chose it for one of our mornings there All was great

I always used Ibis Never knew of this little gem. I was treated badly by Ibus Styles in Bordeaux and will never use them again ever. I meant it so this hotel now gets my and my family’s support. Please pass on to IBIS especially Dtyles nervGre st Jen. They were being unprofessional nd unyielding under circumstances not my fault due to grève Everything

an ideal place to stay while waiting for a train the next day

It’s a budget-friendly stay near the train station. It’s very much no-frills, and as with many neighborhoods near the train station, the area isn’t the best…but if you need proximity to the station, this one can’t be beat.

This is a very nice hotel conveniently located just steps from the train station, with plenty of nearby parking facilities. Hotels close to train stations are often disappointing, but this one was an excellent surprise — simple, no-frills, yet exactly what you need for a comfortable overnight stay. The room was spacious and well-kept, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The view towards the beautiful façade of the station was superb, and despite the central location, the hotel was pleasantly quiet. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a good stopover in Bordeaux with easy parking.

The hotel was very convenient to the train station (we had an 8:50 TGV departure). My room was very spacious and clean. There were plenty of electrical outlets for us gadget folks. I was concerned the location might be noisy but the room was very quiet (and my room faced the street). Bed was comfy and the pillows were fluffy. Staff were friendly to my befuddled traveler self. The petite dejune was decent, though not outstanding. Not so much what I didn’t like, but if you need to be close to the town center this hotel is a bit far from it.

Noisy front facing bedroom. Shower not safe ....did slip on floor getting out of shower.

Right opposite station, good value

Location is great if travelling by train. Staff friendly and helpful. There are stairs up to reception from the street. Room was a bit outdated.
