All around a great hotel. Perfect spot for sightseeing around Boston.
-
Great location! Walking distance to North end and across street from Faneuil Hall. Friendly staff. Spacious and clean rooms.
-
Location is great. Room was very hot, could not get it to cool down. Room was in bad shape. Blood on duvet insert.
-
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location right next to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall is perfect. It's also close to the North End!

Great location, cool hotel!

The hotel has a terrific location and the property is quite nice. Valet parking and checkin was kinda messy. The signage for the valet was nonexistent and there were cars everywhere and, while checkin is ar 3 our room wasn't ready at 3:45. The did upgrade our room first free.

The rooms were not as advertised.

Horrible service. Also, check in says 3pm but when you get there, they tell you 4pm. Front desk agent are horrible

This is one of our favorite places to stay when we come to Boston. The location is great, rooms are a good price and the staff is warm and welcoming!

Beautiful commons area Great staff Disgusting bedrooms

Internet was not working. Restaurant was slow, though not busy. No sausage available for breakfast.

This was my initial experience at this hotel, and while the location was exceptionally appealing, the hotel staff's demeanor was less than satisfactory. Our first assigned room was notably unclean, featuring peeling paint in the bathroom ceiling and an outdated aesthetic. Upon requesting a room change, the second room, though an improvement, still presented cleanliness issues, particularly in the bathroom, where the glass surfaces were visibly spotted, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. Furthermore, the staff consistently appeared disengaged. Consequently, we will not be returning to this establishment.

Property location was great, but condition of property could us some TLC. AC was not working properly. Room refrigerator was not working properly. There was a scent of smoke in the room. Room phone was not working and had to personally walk down to front desk to make a housekeeping request. I personally would not stay again.

I booked my stay at The Bostonian for 4 nights. When I got to my room, it smelled horribly like smoke. I immediately went downstairs and requested a new room. I was given the room right next door to the first room. I decided to just roll with it, but when I returned later that evening, the room smelled like smoke. I felt sick of the smell all night. Then as I was walking out in the morning the whole hallway smelled terrible, like humid/musty. The drain in the bathtub was shut and there is no way to open it unless you touch it. The water station, which is the only water option they provide, was empty both times I tried it. At night you can hear everything from outside, all the bar crowds at 2-3 AM. You have to purchase wifi on every device. I checked out after the first night and went next door to the Canopy. A night and day experience. We had a few reservations coming up at The Bostonian, so we canceled all of them and moved our travelers to other hotels, as it is important for people who are traveling for business to have somewhere to rest and reset from long work days. The Bostonian refused to give me a refund for my inconvenience.

I called the hotel to confirm the amenities in the gym because that was important to me, and they said they had machines including an elliptical. When I got here the gym was so terrible- it smelled bad and had only one working machine- a treadmill. There were no towels, the hand sanitizer was empty, and there was so water. I was supposed to get breakfast included but the breakfast was so bad and the bill did not reflect my credit. The room was dark and depressing. Would not go here again. It was so expensive for such a poor experience. The staff were nice, it was not their fault the hotel was so bad.
